“Items from my order were not delivered. when I called to point this out, I received an apologetic response but I still have not received products. Overall I was pleased with service but obviously I would like to receive what I paid for.”

“Some of the timber was rougher then I expected but was able to sand that down. One piece has split at one end that I had to glue and stick together which was disappointing. However the delivery was quick.”

“Extremely competitive prices, very helpful in store. Unfortunately delivery time is not estimated until after checkout and drivers do not unload the truck. Got some 3x1 when ordered 4x1 but not worth returning.”

“The order was delivered the day after the email stated. Couldn’t get in touch with anyone to find out and nobody contacted me to let me know about the delivery either. The funniest thing is as soon as I complained via PayPal I got a response. Eventually it got delivered the next morning.”

“Quick and easy. Although the driver ( I believe it's their own) can be more polite and not talk to me as if I'm a worker or something. I even have to help him carry stuff down as he can't be bothered to do anything.”

“Purchasing 19x38mm Sawn Treated Roofing Batten was nothing short of confusing as the advertised length is not in stock (again not advertised as it's not in stock) but having a longer length which costs extra and is not really an issue. Delivery was swift once the additional cost was paid, however the quality of the battens was poor, more than 11 of the 60 battens were crushed/chipped/broken rendering them useless, but was resolved with an email and replaced within a few days. More hassle than anything really, i chose Fulham timber for quality and hassle-free purchasing and received the exact opposite..”

“Quick delivery and friendly staff but you delivered plasterboard adhesive months past it's use by date. I had to dash out to get more at Wickes - a 90 min round trip. Always check the date on knauf plasterboard adhesive”

“Delivery came reasonably fast, but expensive delivery fee. When the delivery arrived they were not packaged or wrapped at all, and 2 of the 6 lengths ordered were damaged, so I couldn't take full delivery. I was then told the remaining lengths would be delivered the next day by the unapologetic delivery driver, and this didn't happen. The remaining lengths were delivered the following week. Product is not of the best quality, with cracks and imperfections on them.”

“HI In general, was pleased with Fulham Timber and have used it a couple of times. Only this time I had to send back 5 lengths and have not been contacted in any way either to be redelivered or refunded. Thanks Erden”

“I ordered an ogee panel mould. The first delivery attempt was of an ogee architrave, so I sent it back. The second delivery attempt was to the wrong address. I finally got what I ordered on the third attempt. Having said that, Fulham Timber were one of the few outlets that had what I wanted, and when it arrived, it was perfect.”

“I would give 5 star for customer service and the quality of the actual wood and treatment. Problem is the boards were way too much bent and warped...on both sides.. bit disappointing.”

“Placed two orders with Fulham timber as appeared very competitively priced and well reviewed. Asked for them to be combined into one order and they agreed to this and refunded 1 deliver cost. Unfortunately the orders were not combined, and some of the timbers were damaged requiring replacement. So in total 3 deliveries and the replacements were for a lower grade timber than requested. Reasonable timbers otherwise but I will look to other suppliers in future to have less hassle!”

Unfortunately, we cannot always combine additional orders which you add to your order at a later date for various reasons, such as there not being sufficient weight allowance available on the vehicle your original order is planned on for the extra goods. Road safety and compliance are our first priority. We did as mentioned refund your additional delivery charge, so you were only charged for one delivery. “There was only one person to complete the delivery and the driver needed help to unload the timber, I was the only person who was at home and suffer with CTS arthritis so not happy that I had to help. If this was explained prior I could have had someone available. The driver was lovely and tried his best to help and work with me so this wasn't his fault. But the company should be clear on these policies. Apart from this the rest of the process was easy and simple”

“Ordered 10m PAR white oak. Came in 3 boards, all completely different colours and grain, 3m was too banana-esque to use and it wasn't a consistent thickness from board to board. Delivery time was about 8 days. Needless to say, not very impressed. Managed to just get enough usable material to finish project but had to finish it all different to get the colour closer. Not much point in paying the premium for PAR if it comes in the same condition as a sawn board.”
