“Was always using this but for the past couple weeks, everything stopped working, no idea what happened but everything seemed to just remove all reg plates, i search one and it doesnt come up but still comes up on other websites”

“I've tried using this website to check several registrations for free and not one of them exists,according to the results. However, when the same registrations are checked using the .gov website, they all exist. Doesn't inspire confidence in using this website's paid content. Probably best avoided, if it can't get the basics correct.”

“Free Car Check used to be very good for checking up plates etc... unfortunately, over the last few weeks, they have completely lost the plot. Checking current cars for original reg's their checks now cannot find current plates (for cars that are taxed and MoT'd). The reg of the Mercedes underneath is an example of a search that cannot be found, yet the vehicle is fully taxed, MoT'd and legal on the road. I have removed them from favourited sites and will no longer visit their site. I strongly DO NOT reccomend them.”

“It was a fantastic site until they decided to reduce data shown (i.e. engine number). Since some days now, there is with every valid plate entered the message given: "Nothing found for that reg plate - is it correct?" With that, Free Car Check is absolutely useless.”

“Have now sent two emails stating that I paid for a check that wasn't recieved Had to go with another company and paid someone else. No response from them,very frustrating paying for a service you don't actually receive.”

“I paid for a premium car check report and didn't receive it, the page also wouldn't load. Free Car check then sends a review email as if I could review a service I paid for but still haven't received, very cheeky of them. I then emailed the provided address and still haven't heard back from them. I don't have access to the report and never have. I would still like the product I paid for. Sadly I can't leave a good review if I haven't received the product. I have searched if free car Check is a scam, which it isn't but I am still hopeful I will receive the product. Otherwise I will be going to trading standards.”
