Haven't received the item yet (on day 5 after ordering, and paying for 1-3 day despatch), nor any explanation as to why it's delayed. However, I have received several marketing emails from them.

Hello Jon, we thank you for your valued order. We can confirm that your order placed on the 20th was dispatched by us on the 23rd and tracking this with Royal Mail we can see that it is in transit. Tracking shows it will be with you on Monday. We do ask customers to please allow 3-5 working days from your receipt of your dispatch notification. I ordered a mirror on 13th of August and as of today (18th of September) I still don’t know where my mirror is or when I’ll receive it. There is no tracking information and while I get responses to my emails, it’s always I’ll check and then no follow up. I would not order from here again.

Dear Melissa, once again we do apologise for this protracted order. This item is leaving us by a third party and as explained there has been a big mix up and we have both been let down. I have emailed you personally with the dates on arrival. We share your frustrations and are so sorry for any disappointment and inconvenience caused to you. My order was not delivered, and I was not told. The order was for my daughters birthday, and I had to ring Folk as ask where it was.

Hello Susan, we are once again ever so sorry to have let you down and to have missed this important event. We have had a busy few weeks with the shop opening and staff off due to a family emergency so can only apologise that this order was overlooked in informing of you a stock anomaly. I placed the order on September 1st for my daughters birthday, but it was never sent, and I was not informed. I had to ring and find out where it was. Alternative items were found, but I do not have much confidence in this firm

Put an order in on, 26.11.2022. Have not received my items. I have e- mailed, and telephoned. No response to my e-mail, left messages on the answer phone , no response. The money for these items, I ordered , has been taken from my account.

I have never received this order and I have not received a response to my emails asking what to do next. I am appalled by this service, obviously the company has no intention of contacting me as I will be asking for my money back. This order was intended as a Christmas gift.

Hello Diane, I have sent you two emails but it would seem these have gone to your spam folder? We are working through a number of parcels that went missing during the black friday weekend and sending them all out again today. We had to give Royal mail a reasonable time to catch up with these deliveries. Katy

I have not received my order and yet you have already sent two chasers for feedback. I would appreciate an update on my order rather than just send these automated emails, when you haven’t even checked if I have received my paid order. Graham

Hello Diane, I'm so sorry your mugs haven't arrived yet. The Royal mail strikes and the Black Friday weekend coinciding isn't ideal as it's our busiest time of year. I wasn't aware that we sent out more than one review request and these are set to a few days after despatch so I will certainly look into that. Hopefully it will arrive tomorrow. Katy

The piece of furniture is great and delivery was very quick post placing the order. The delivery itself though was terrible. Only one man came to deliver the cabinet, asking me, a 5 ft 4 petite woman to help him carry it up and down the stairs. I obliged but sprained my back and have been in agony for over a week (and off work myself). It's not acceptable to make customers carry the furniture especially at risk to their health

Hello, I'm so sorry about this.. I'm not actually sure which order we are talking about as usually we contact deliveries to make them aware that help will be needed at both ends. Perhaps we have the wrong email for you? We use a brilliant courier but we aren't charging for a white glove service. An extra courier is available but it does cost more than the standard delivery and I'm sorry you weren't made aware of that. It’s my first time using them and had to email to chase my delivery as was over a week late, when I asked for a postage refund I have yet to get a response and my order finally arrived nearly 10 working days after it was stated. Disappointed with the lack of customer support so won’t be using them again.

Hello Chrissie, Apologies that you haven't received your sample of wallpaper. It was sent the day after you ordered it but I suspect with the jubilee the post has taken a bit longer this week. I'll keep an eye on the tracking and it if doesn't arrive tomorrow we will get another out to you Katy

Ordered for the 1st time as I found a pair of children's sandals that was much cheaper than other retailers. I found the delivery costs very high (£5) for the time it took to get to me (1 week). I did not receive the confirmation email but had taken note of the order number and eventually received the dispatch email. When I received the order, I found that they sent me the wrong size and subsequently saw that they don't do free returns so it's costing me another £5 to send this back via DPD (only option available on the site). I emailed customer service asking for an exchange and if they would wave delivery fees for this as they had sent me the wrong size. I never got a response. So I've spent £10 for nothing and am now going to have to keep a close eye on whether my refund comes in. I will not be lured by discounted prices anymore and will buy from trusted retailers.

The confirmation email will have been sent to the email you ordered with but sometimes this goes to your junk depending on the filters you have set. We don't offer free returns but would not charge you for the return of something that was sent in error or damaged. I’ll be happy to provide a review when I receive my order. However, so far, although aIhave paid for the item, I’ve received no further communication about its dispatch or when I can expect it to be delivered. I think that this part of the process falls far behind that of other retailers in what is now a mainly online retail experience.

I bought a HK Living triangle floor lamp for £239. It is amazingly poor quality for the price. It was very difficult to put together, it doesn’t screw in evenly no matter what I do. And it is very unstable. The base should be weighted, but it isn’t and so the balance of the lamp is off. I expect so much more from such an expensive lamp and am disappointed. I bought it as a design piece. It honestly feels like a 30 quid lamp. I emailed Folk Interiors about this straight away and have had no response. I don’t mind waiting a few days for a resolution if needed but when a customer has received a faulty product, at least acknowledge their email. I’ve emailed a couple of times now. I can see from reviews that other customers have had this experience. It’s disappointing as the product was packaged well, including with some beautiful wrap around another product I bought and a cute note.

To not offer a decent refund policy and ask customers to carry out every aspect of the return themselves stands out as very poor online shopping etiquette in a market where most competitors make these processes as easy as possible. No customer is going to be happy with a 14 days returns window and having to go through the trouble of paying and returning themselves. Being given a credit note at this point makes me feel trapped and even more resentful.

Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed with my purchase. I ordered a framed print but the frame looked entirely different from the image online. This was because a stock image had been used. When I contacted customer support, I had to chase for a resolution and ended up having to return the item.
