Had a watch strap replaced. The leather was scuffed straight away and the strap didn't fit my wrist. It would have been better to have different lengths of strap so it could be personalised because one fit does not suit all.

You did not have an expandable strap for the watch l bought off of you and said you have weekly deliveries but probably WOULD NOT have one to fit great where do l go from here another jewellers l suppose shame .

Brought in my engagement ring to repair. Was given two weeks as timescales. Took a lot longer. The first time I enquired, I was told that you had needed to send away for a replacement stone. However, that should have been done as soon as I paid for the repair. And, then I had to telephone to find out if it had been done, as no email as promised. Pleased with the repair, but you need to do better at managing customer expectations.

My item arrived as scheduled. Sadly the battery wasn't working. I'd paid for priority shipping and still had to take my item into town for a replacement.

I recently bought a wedding for myself and my wife to be. When we received our rings we tried them for size,my wife to be grateful fit. Mine however was extremely tight and I struggled to remove it. I ask the assistant if it was size(x) he got the ring gauge and said yes. I feel that I should have asked what size the ring was then I could have at least said that the size was wrong. Now I'm stuck with a ring that doesn't fit. The assistant said you may be able to get it stretched, but it nay ruin the pattern. I feel that perhaps this ring is not the size I ordered.

The only negative feedback is regarding the bag which has been provided: really poor quality as it looked like a black bin bag. No shop name. A bit disappointing for a jewelry shop.

Having ordered a bespoke locket in June I have today just picked it up today 5 October. This was far to long to wait. Not only that but the locket had to be returned by Hinds as it wasn't done to my specification. So overall the locket and chain I am happy with but not the time it has taken. Also I think you should keep your customers informed about what is happening as I seem to do all the chasing.

I purchased a hot diamond necklace for a birthday gift for a friend. I was served by a pleasant helpful sales assistant. When paying I asked could I please have a little bag. She gave me a black plastic one but as it’s for a gift I asked if I could have the paper/cardboard bag like I have previously received. Another female assistant said NO, which I found bad customer service, especially as I explained it’s for a gift

Replaced the catch on my neckless, no problem, quickly and efficiently, but I only thought afterwards that I was not given the old one back. Small I know but given the price of gold, still worth something, only thought about it later but feeling a little robbed.

The service was ok, but I had the Mcarthur Glen app which said I had 10% discount with Chappelle up to 29th September. The young girl who served me asked another colleague how to take the 10% off, her colleague looked at my app and said they dont participate with the app and they have asked Mcarther them off. I was dissapointed and embarrassed, so suggest this gets sorted out.

Staff were very helpful. Unfortunately the stone fell out of one of my new earrings within one day of wearing them. I am so disappointed. I assume I can’t return them or get them fixed at least?
