“Delicious beef thanks. I don’t know what to do with the gel packs? Don’t want to add them to landfill, worried about pouring gel down the sink and don’t want to drive to a food bank. Eco advice would be good.”

“Great tasting meat at resonable prices, and delivery was quick too. The Beef sausages alone are oustanding. Being on a gluten free diet is what won me over and the taste alone is amazing. A welcomed change from the norm since a lot of gluten free products I've tried are tasteless. Will keep my eyes peeled for the larger birds since they weren't available when I placed my order. No issues, will just have to be quicker next time. Will be ordering again. 5 Stars *****”

“Product arrived very quickly in good condition. Only downside for me was a personal one. I give the offal to neighbors who have dogs/cats and usually these are in package but not in the carcass cavity so when I receive three chickens i can just remove them and pass on. As these are inside the carcass, I can't get at them until I defrost each bird. Not a deal breaker however, everything else perfect!”

“Purchased rump steak at 20% discount for first time costumer. Very hard, tough, chewy and plenty of nerves. I’m scared as purchased diced beef as well and haven’t tried it yet. Asked for explanation and I had a very poor explanation even very rude explanation I could say.”

Hi Juan, I am really sorry to hear you thought my explanation to you was poor, even rude, I was genuinely trying to be helpful and factful in reply to your product concerns. As I explained in my emails, rump steaks are cut from the hindquarters of the animal, these are a reasonably hard-working group of muscles, and with that, some rump steaks will have a bit more of a bite than others, this can't be helped, it is the nature of the muscles where the rump steaks are cut from. For a guaranteed tender eating experience the best steaks you can buy come from the loin muscles along the back of the animal, these are a light-working group of muscles that include the ribeye, sirloin and fillet steak cuts. Rump steaks are a considerably cheaper cut than the loin steaks and in making that saving, there will sometimes be a compromise on the tenderness of the cut. I am confident if you follow the preparation and cooking advice given in my emails you will have a good eating experience with the remainder of your rump steaks. Best regards, Ollie
