“The item was so tarnished. I tried a silver cloth which barely touched it, I then put it in an ultrasonic cleaner, hoping that the stones and enamel survived. Thankfully they did, but new jewellery should arrive clean. If I had had time I'd have returned it, but I had bought it as a present.”
