“Fairyloot does some of the most STUNNING special editions you will ever come across. While purchasing these editions can sometimes be difficult due to technical difficulties and site crashes, once you receive your copies you can think of nothing but how wonderful they are. I have had a few issues with the condition of the books, sometimes there is slight damage, possibly due to careless shipping, I am not sure. But Fairyloot is always available to hear your concerns and is usually able to provide a replacement for you. I find the book boxes sometimes vary in quality month to month but this is the gamble you take when you sign up for a monthly subscription. Sometimes you are going to receive a product that isn't for you. With all this being said, I am very content with my subscription and I look forward to my box each month! I have found many wonderful standalone novels and it has opened my eyes to some wonderful authors.”

“The items are beautiful! On occasion I was missing an item and one time I didn’t have a spoiler card in the box. The missing item was easily cleared up but I still had to sort that out. Otherwise I have had a great experience!”

“I love the unique content and care that's put into FairyLoot boxes, and the details of their exclusive books are constantly elevating graphic design. Not to mention the books themselves are always top-tier picks from YA fantasy and sci-fi. The only thing that keeps this from being a five-star rating, is the shipping. It takes over a month for a book to get to me, and that's a little frustrating.”

“Absolutely love FairyLoot- one of my favorite book boxes! They have amazing special edition boxes as well. Only cons are issues with the website for special edition boxes and always having to use the uk FairyLoot (which has high shipping) for any special edition books.”

“I love Fairyloot! I feel like the boxes are worth the money and are of good quality. The customization to the books are amazing and I love having the special editions. Customer Service is amazing and has answered my questions and concerns quickly and efficiently. The only thing I would really like is to have more control over my account. So I can be able to skip months without having to send an email. Other than that the service is fantastic!”

“Fairyloot’s books are fabulous and well designed. Items are generally good, with occasional misses, but everything has a nice theme and a good design. So happy there is a US warehouse to help shipping costs!”

“Love the box to bits!! I love the items almost always and there's rarely one that I will not keep and gift to a friend! I also love the artists that are included, the quality of everything in the box and of course I adore each and evey book I' ve ever gotten from Fairyloot!!! Unboxing it is my highlight every month!!The only thing that has messed up my experience a bit lately is the outrageous shipping prices, which I know aren't Fairyloot's fault, but since the review is for the entirety of the Fairyloot experience I felt like I should rate that too.. (International customer here)”

“since the first box I bought two years ago I think quality and the exclusive book editions have improved a lot. I'm not sure how else faityloot may improve your boxes, but for now I'm happy with the improvements :)”

“Overall I am very satisfied with the box. The only thing that I would want to mention is that for my perspective there are too often book sleeves in the boxes. I would wish that there is a little bit more variety in terms of the items.”

“This box has creative themes with lovely items. I especially like the artworks on the dustjackts. Unfortunately their customer service isn't very helpful should an item or box be missing. I hope other customers are spared the experice I had. When my box was lost and they promissed to send a replacement within 1 month but that turned into 3 months and then the most anticipated item was still missing!”

“I love the books, the content and most themes. The quality is also amazing! The only -quite important- drawback is the shipping cost. I live in Greece and it almost makes the box not affordable to me and most greek Bookstagram accounts I know. It almost doubles the cost of the box. I really want to keep my subscription and I've been trying to, but the shipping cost is quite unbearable. Maybe you could look into it and do something about it? Boxes that come from the US have cheaper shipping costs, not sure how that happens. Please look into it cause we really love Fairyloot and we'd hate to lose our subscriptions ☹️”

“I love the boxes and the customer service issues that I have had have been sorted quickly and the person helping me has been really friendly! The only reason that this isn't a 5-star review is that while all the customizations on the books are amazing, I sometimes find that the extra items are going to waste. They are cute things, but either isn't to my taste or things that just aren't practical to use. This isn't an issue of Fairyloot as they can't have things that I am going to like all the time as my style isn't everyone's style I just feel that it can be a bit disappointing when you want to be able to enjoy everything!”
