“They always have the most beautiful editions and the items almost always feel useful and not like “junk” that I will eventually throw away. Sometimes I feel like I would like to see one or two more items in each box for the price but the quality, special editions and art are unbeatable by the other boxes I’ve subscribed to.”

“FairyLoot boxes are amazing, I always treasure the items and beautiful books. The only reason I can’t give FairyLoot five stars is because the shipping is always late. I can’t remember the last time I got my box in the month that I was supposed to. For a book box that is as expensive as FairyLoot, they should be able to plan ahead enough to get the boxes out a bit earlier than they do. Other than the frustrating shipping situation I love FairyLoot boxes!”

“I love so many of the products. Great books and the designs are stellar. Recently the shipping has been slower which I know is not the company fault but I have seen so many spoilers before I even get my box that it is disappointing. Other than that I love Fairyloot and so glad I am subscribed.”

“Fairyloot has been a great book subscription box so far. The only thing that is keeping me from giving them 5 stars is actually just a personal preference, but almost all the custom artwork they send out on posters, book sleeves, and other items is just portrait illustrations of characters. Usually just people wearing a cloak or crown or holding a sword with no context to give me a hint who they are. Most of the time I have to look at the spoiler card to even know which YA fantasy characters they're supposed to be. After almost a year of subscription, I have so many things with character art on them but almost no other fantasy scenes, like a landscape with dragons or other fantastical creatures - mermaids, werewolves, fairies, or magical castles, or a mage battle scene, or a beautiful galaxy, or an enchanted forest. This is a fantasy book subscription box, but the artwork isn't that fantastical in my opinion. I just wish there was a bit more variety of artwork, because so many of their items come with custom artwork, but it all ends up kind of looking the same to me. If I had a wall where I hung up all the art I got from the boxes, it would just be a wall of character torsoes with no context as to what story they're from. But all their stuff is great quality and the special edition books are stunning. I know my complaint is just a personal preference thing - I'm sure lots of people love the artwork. It's just something to think about before you subscribe.”

“I really like the book customizations, and the effort it takes to put these boxes together in general. However, I put down four stars because half the time, the items that are in the box can be a little lackluster. The kitchen utensils, especially. They take up space in the house, and I find myself trying to give them away because I have no use for them. And when art prints are considered one or two of the items, the box seems really empty for the pricing I scrounge up to save for every month. It’d be highly appreciated if there were more than one enamel pin maybe, or things that incorporated more ‘writing’ and ‘books’. Like a calligraphy set, washi tapes, enamel bookmarks, more fake book storage, or inspired pens/stationery sets?”

“Its such a fun box to get every month. Sometimes the delay in getting the box is irritating but overall I am happy. I sometimes wish it had nicer items included such as ceramic mugs but again I am usually happy with most items. The books are always beautiful though and love every book. The books are the main reason I purchase this box.”

“I love almost everything from Fairyloot. They have a nice customer service and especially the books are gorgeous. The teams are really fun and they have nice goodies. The reason why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars, is because of the delivery. Fairyloot uses Hermes and I've had a lot of trouble with my deliveries from them.”

“Overall, I really do love this book subscription. However, the anxiety that is brought on by special edition boxes is unreal and really needs to be fixed. Other major companies don’t have this constant issue.”

“I really enjoy Fairyloot and all the customized books and cool trinkets. Although sometimes I get frustrated with the site crashing every time a special edition goes on sale. This is always very stressful and I end up taking almost an hour to get these editions because the site won’t work. But everything else is perfect and I look forward to my box every month.”

“FairyLoot is the gold standard of book subscription boxes. Their book selections and customizations are the best there are. The products they include always have that “Wow” factor. The only criticism, shared by most, are the difficulties that arise from exclusive sales of special editions. Although the customer service is prompt, professional and just plain nice, none of that makes up for the continual site crashes, email delays, miscommunications and so forth. With that being said, you’d have to pry my membership from my cold, dead hands. It brings me joy and beauty every month.”

“I have been subscribed to a couple of book boxes for a while and I think over all the quality of your books is the best. You guys offer the most impressive special editions of new books and the most interesting collectors editions as well. That being said I have a few things I wish were better. First, the monthly items are hit or miss in terms of quality and usefulness. Second, the current way that collectors editions are handle is a little disappointing. You rarely have enough and the site always has issues. I’m glad that you are finally offering them through the US store but hopefully some of these issues can be ironed out. Thanks for reading me feedback and I look forward to my next box”

“I got Fairyloot because I love books and I wanted things that were inspired by them. Fairyloot has given me everything that I have wanted and more. I love the items from the boxes. My favorite are the bags. I'm able to take them with me and share my book love everywhere. The only problem is that it is really slow. I know that once covid passes things will go back to normal, so I don't care that much.”
