“I am very happy with FairyLoot- my only frustration is with consistent editions of books. So for example the ‘A Heart So Fierce and Broken’ I got in a box. And now I find out that the third book of that edition is being released but I didn’t even know the second came out. This is very frustrating and leaves me worried that I will miss future releases. The ‘Girls of Paper and Fire’ was similar, where the Fairy loot edition was smaller than the sequel in paper back. My suggestion is if you’re going to make a fairy loot exclusive, sprayed edges is fine, but a similar size to the original - or have multiple ways to inform subscribers that you will be or are thinking of making exclusive editions of future books within a series.”

“The books in fairyloot are almost always amazing sometimes the extras ain't amazing but tbh for me the price is mostly for the book and signture/notes from author so any extras I'm not going to snuff at”

“Cela fait 2 ans que je suis abonnée et je suis globalement satisfaite de mon expérience. J'ai noté une nette progression dans la qualité des box et des goodies proposés. Il y a moins d'items papier et plus d'objets utiles et originaux. Les éditions exclusives de la FairyLoot sont aussi un nouvel élément que j'aime énormément. Je considère mes livres comme une véritable collection et c'est un plaisir de contempler les superbes éditions FairyLoot. J'ai commencé mon abonnement à la FairyLoot par curiosité et je ne le regrette pas du tout. J'ai pu voir une grande progression et une véritable recherche dans les goodies proposés et les fandoms qui composent les box. Merci beaucoup à la Team FairyLoot pour votre travail. “Fairyloot has grown a lot as a small company and the team always strives to deliver the best product and customer service, even though mistakes happen sometimes the strong feature of this company is learning from them which is what matters. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because of the lack of transparency during the times of said mistakes and accidents. They happen and it's not the company's fault but being very clear about certain situations and informing the customers straight away it's a key factor that not only helps us have a clear perspective on the matter at hand but also builds trust.”

“I love the boxes, some are always going to be better than others and the books won't always be to my tastes but they're always gorgeous to look at and the boxes are always exciting to find on my doorstep. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of the special editions you have. They are often grouped very close together so it's hard to afford all of the ones you might want, especially when you're competing with other book boxes special editions. I would prefer to have one (or two if they're on the cheaper side) special editions/boxes a month to make it more affordable, especially when it comes to the more expensive ones. I've been subscribed since 2017 (I think) and it's only been in the more recent months that I've had damages to items. I'm currently waiting for 4 replacement items and have had a couple more at the beginning of the year. However, your customer service team are amazing and get everything sorted in a polite and timely manner. I find that I'd love to join a read-a-long but find reading the entire book in 5 days very daunting. I know we can read before the start if we're slower readers but I find that takes the fun out of it a bit for me (especially when I can't remember the topics I'd love to discuss with everyone when it eventually does start). If the read-a-long could be extended by a few days/a week then that would make it more accessible to me personally. Overall, you guys are doing an amazing job and I look forward to more books from you in the future.”

“Generally I’m a very happy subscriber, I do sometimes wish that there would be more variety in fandoms and get a but overwhelmed by all of the special editions stuff though I usually don’t get much of it. I’m always happy to recieve my box and the times I’ve had need of customer support, they’ve always been very helpful.”

“Overall I have no complains. I have never had issues with the box, and I think in general we get good products and anticipated books, which is great. One BIG complain I do have however is the fact that the shipping prices have changed without us being informed beforehand. And I mean a public information that the shipping prices will increase. It was not a professional choice, in my opinion. I had issue with my payment going through, first time in 2 years, and after paying manually, suddenly the shipping was higher (DOUBLE the previous rate). I honestly felt very disappointed. And unfortunately I will stop my subscription soon because of it. The new shipping prices seem excessive. I understand the world situation, but I still don't think is justified, since I order from the UK often, and this did not happen before. But other than that overall you are doing a good job. Maybe you should be a bit more open to the public and give more insights in what is happening and what are some of your future plans.”

“Great service and amazing books would never unsubscribe. Very happy to replace damaged books and lovely service. The only negative thing I have to say is that individual books do arrive damaged alot and the delivery service Fairyloot use (hermes) are not careful with packages alot of the time. Apart from that love it!!!”

“I always enjoy the exclusivity of the items and books from FairyLoot, as well as the quality of the items made and how useful some of them are. I love that FairyLoot often includes books with LGBT representation in them. I think where it falls short is the courier service they use in my country (Hermes UK). I now have to get my package delivered to a friend's house as Hermes customer service is terrible, they are impossible to get in contact with when there is a problem (and there is every single month as I live in a locked flat). I'd personally love if FairyLoot were ever able to switch to a more interactive service with alternate locations for if I cannot receive my parcel, such as Royal Mail, and I'd be willing to pay a little extra for the shipping.”

“I love getting books I probably would never have heard of, I have enjoyed all the books I received. I love getting the little souvenirs and the fact they look like they come from small businesses. I think the price is good for what you get. The only reason I don’t give it a five is the website has some bugs that need to be worked on during some sales but thankfully I have never missed out on what I want. I would love to see a section on the site, like a calendar that quickly shows upcoming releases, like when a singular box or special edition book is going up for sale.”
