The whole experience feels tailored to the individual as you can configure the bike to your preference from parts to Euro brake setup, etc. \r\nThe Ostro VAM is my first road bike and while it's likely tailored to the more avid and pro riders, for a newbie, you instantly understand why it is one of the top road bikes available. "My Factor Ostro VAM has the exclusive UK colourway in gun metal and bronze( I think mine was the first to be sold) in June.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nOn Sunday 24th September 2023 it was the Gran Fondo Nove Colli, one of the longest running Gran Fondos (52 yrs), the weather up until Sunday had been perfect, blue skies 28-29deg calm winds - incredible. However on Sunday the weather was quite different, biblical rain for 5 hours mist and temperatures between 10 and 15 deg but in reality, this did not matter. I was fully prepared for the event, training had gone well so the ride was not an issue. What made the ride was realising just how good the Factor Ostro VAM was, super quick on the flats, holding its speed in the quick groups on the run-ins to the climbs, and a super stable platform to get the power down for the climbs many of which were between 15-20deg. The descents were sketchy to say the least due to the wet conditions however the bike was confidence inspiring and sure footed. Comfort was the best I have experienced on a bike thanks to the bike and to the bike fit. To cap it all in an area stuffed with Pinarellos and Colnagos I got so many compliments for my bike. I think I could have sold quite a few.\r\n\r\nI may seem to be gushing but this is exactly how it was and will continue to be I am sure. So, many thanks to you all at ViresVelo for helping with getting my bike and for Factor for producing an awesome machine. "
