Ordered a product which was available online, got told the day after that it may be out of stock but would check, was only told 5 days after ordering that it was out of stock and was a clearance item.

Hi there - we're sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with our service. Whilst items are advertised as in stock on our website, they may sell in one of our branches in between us picking your order. In this instance, we will always try to source the item elsewhere which can take a few days whilst we wait for suppliers to get back to us.

Was told expected delivery was last Friday, no show, actually tipped up afternoon of Monday at which point I was in Brighton installing Screwfix (expensive) version. Not happy, caused lot of stress trying to sort replacement.

Hi Kevin - upon looking into this, we can see your order was out for delivery on Friday 16th June as we had sent your order using the next day delivery service with our courier. Unfortunately, this was completely out of our control and can only apologise on behalf of Parcelforce that your order was not delivered on time.

Your snickers work shorts that are advertised at a 30 waist are nowhere near a 30inch waste. Very disappointed

I haven’t received anything yet? You are trying to find a branch with stock as you have run out but still advertise the goods on your website. How can you send a review when I have not received any goods, bizarre, or is that another floor in your website?

Told us you had the item, then said you might not have the item. Said you would check and let us know, didn't let us know until we called and asked. Now 4 days down the line and you've credited the goods

Had these cutters off different companies never an issue got these the other day went to cut a 10mm cable and they have bent absolutely disgusting quality

FRAUDSTERS DO NOT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES Ordered items in good faith, advertised as available - they weren’t. Waited over 8 weeks for delivery. Delivery never arrived, Express Electrical blamed courier despite courier never once leaving a card or appearing on my CCTV. Rearranged delivery, didn’t show. Requested refund EXpress Electrical refused as they didn’t have goods in their possession. Parcelforce confirm items back with Express Electrical and still no refund despite asking several times. Have reported to fraud dept of PayPal, my credit card provider and police. DO NOT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES

My order arrived today but was missing a smoke detector. very difficult to contact them I have sent an email (I think) and tried to contact them via the get in touch messenger which wouldn't sent. Happy to retract this if and when my order is completed.

How a company loses new customers and customers for life, extremely unprofessional and completely out of touch & incapable. Only service experience this company gave me was when they took my money hundreds of pounds they over promised and certainly didn’t deliver without any apology. Today I celebrate as I finally got my refund through PayPal thanks to them and them only for fighting for my refund as the company wasn’t capable of answering the phone.

Ordered smoke alarms Jan, said they would arrive in Feb. Never arrived, told they would be shipped first week in March. Waited until the end of March and still didn’t turn up.

By the look of the reviews I am not the only one who has been scammed by the low prices for the smoke alarms. Requested a refund almost 4 weeks ago and all I get is emails saying my refund has been processed. They claim the money has left their account even though I don’t have my refund yet. AVOID THIS COMPANY. I wish I had checked the reviews first
