Since then, we have come a long way and more recently we have branched out and now sell a range of kitchen sinks and taps as well as our better known bathroom products. The item we ordered and paid for was out of stock and we were later told we’d receive it in a few weeks. We’d also paid an extra for an express delivery so we asked for a refund but they said they couldn’t. Later, we found out the express delivery charge is a delivery charge for the item even though it didn’t say on their website. It was misleading. When we were notified of the delivery, we were told if we missed to receive it, there will be another delivery charge occurred which was over £40. A customer service staff was very helpful and he was doing his best but overall, our experience with this company was not good.

I ordered a shower screen on Sunday 08/09/2019, my order consisted of a 300mm shower screen, a 200mm return panel and a support bar. I opted for grouped delivery to try to limit the amount of time we would have to stay in to be available for delivery compared to if they were to come separately. On Tuesday 10/09 I received a dispatch email advising that the delivery would be on Wednesday 11/09. We arranged for my wife to wait in for the delivery on Wednesday and when I hadn't heard anything by midday I phoned for an ETA on the delivery - the agent checked with the courier and I was told it would be before 3pm. At 2.50pm my wife rang to ask on the delivery again as she had to nip out for 20 minutes to collect our eldest from school, she said the female agent was rude and abruptly told her that she couldn't contact the courier as the lines were busy and advised my wife that if she missed the delivery then we would need to pay to have the item redelivered. When she returned from the school run it still hadn't been and I arrived home at 4.45pm with still no delivery - when I phoned I was told that the delivery driver had hit traffic due to an accident and that it would now be delivered Thursday, the agent did apologise for nobody phoning us to let us know. I told him Thursday was no good and it would need to be Friday when my wife was next available. So we were booked in for Friday. Friday morning came and we received an email advising that one of the panels was damaged and we would not be getting a delivery that day. I was then told it would come Monday. Monday came and the delivery eventually arrived, later than I was advised - my wife took in the delivery and we thought all was well, until I returned home from work and found that the 300mm panel was missing from the delivery! I had to contact again on Tuesday to arrange for another replacement panel to be delivered but this could only be delivered on Thursday 19/09. The panel did finally arrive later than advised on Thursday ( 45 mins late) to complete my order and I am happy with the product and it is now fitted. I am however extremely disappointed in the poor level of service from Egonomic Designs, the lack of empathy in the missing and late deliveries, just matter of fact that it would now be delivered on this day instead with no consideration for the lost time. It was only after complaining and requesting a refund for the delivery that I received a refund. This should have been a minimum offer in the first instance considering that if I missed the delivery I would have to pay again! We are pleased that we finally have our delivery and pleased that the quality of the product is decent but I would not recommend purchasing from Ergonomic Designs, nor would I use them again in future myself.

We bought two WCs that said they came with ceramic handles, but when we got the toilets they only had basic handles. Questioned it and was told they would have been in the box separately, which they weren't. I was told that they were delivered and that is that and if I wanted them I would have to pay again for another set.

Pleased with the service, everyone I dealt with was incredibly helpful. Disappointed that the bath arrived with a chip on the corner .

Very difficult to order as site kept blocking with weird message (reported) Also although the product is fine the additional stuff required like toilet seat and plug for basin for my order you do not stock ! Very frustrating now have to go and search for items. One stop shop is what you need not 90%

Delivery firm used has lost my order. They apparently left it with a neighbour (we have a dozen of them) with a completely unintelligible signature (and printed my name next to it). delivery firm contact then hung up on me when I was politely trying to get to the bottom of it and identify how to track it down.

Hi Stephen, I believe my colleague Beth is dealing with you on this. I can see from the emails that you have put the wrong address in the delivery address of your order. The item went out for delivery as advised on the 6th November however, delivery could not be made due to the incorrect address. We have asked the courier to update the details. for your address but this will mean the delivery of your item is delayed as FedEx action this request.

everything went well for my orders apart from the wall hung toilet pan where it was supposed to be delivered from 29th - 31st. When I've checked on the 1st what happened, you've told me that someone have rang me to have arranged the delivery. I have to tell you now with all honesty that there was NOBODY who rang me. Not a missed call from an unknown number or anything. When it was arranged finally to be delivered on the 2nd, I still have to ring round 4pm on that day just to be informed that it won't be delivered at all because it was broken on transit! Again NOBODY has informed me & obviously could have waited all day for nothing!

The mirror arrived cracked - customer service did not apologise once and were off hand the implication being it was my fault! I paid for a quick expedited delivery - I am still waiting for a replacement mirror and no offer to refund the express delivery fee.

Delivery that I paid £35 for I checked and was advised I would be called and given an estimate time slot so I could leave for work. Wrong number was called and I ended up missing the parcel due to this. When calling customer service I was advised in the T and C's it states that i had to be in all day and what the delivery email says is final even though i contacted their customer service for clarification and was advised incorrectly. Wanted me to pay £35 redelivery i argued and got this for half price. A day later I received confirmation of redelivery date but to an incorrect address (my billing address and not my delivery address) I called customer service and was told to ignore the email and incorrect phone number as the email is not relevant even though last time i was advised this was over speak to one of their reps on customer service team. Delivery came on the day but wrong phone number was called again although i waited in all day at the delivery address this time so I did not miss the parcel. The shower tray I ordered was very heavy and I had to help the driver with the weight of it all though the courier company I can not fault as he was helpful and polite etc. just the issues with Ergonomic Designs that I was not happy with. In terms of reading the reviews prior to ordering i wish looking back i paid the extra money to go else were. Never had these issues ordering something so simple in the past. The product in question appears to be as ordered however i have not fitted this as of yet.

Hi Daniel, I can see your order had 2 contact numbers on as I am assuming the order was made via your plumber. I understand this was order was placed being required for the following day, but we do also email dispatch confirmation with a specified delivery date to avoid telephone issues and ensure someone is home to receive the delivery. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide timed delivery on the direct delivery option selected as specified on our checkout, and although drivers do call, this cannot always be guaranteed. Please note on checkout on the direct delivery option you selected we do state "Items will be shipped as soon as possible. Large items may be delivered on a pallet and will be curbside only. A delivery time cannot always be provided!" As soon as you advised us of the failed delivery we arranged for delivery on the on the 7th Sept as requested. We do always advise not to book installers till the items have arrived and been checked as delays can sometimes occur with couriers that are outside of our control, but in this instance the phone number error resulted in driver calling your plumber who unfortunately was not at the property. The second invoice received was just for postage charge, therefore we did not provide a delivery address just the invoice address supplied on the initial order.

Delivery is way too slow for in stock items. Product was delivered to you on a Tuesday and it wasn’t passed the the courier who didn’t arrange delivery until the following Monday. The reason we used ergonomic designs was because the item was in stock.

The wrong order was delivered and although customer service was quick in their reaction to deliver the right item, there was a delay of another 5 days with only an apology at hand.
