Very disappointed had a Mot and silver service about a two month’s ago. For which l paid over £300. Thought you would have checked the brakes but obviously not as l have just had to have the front ones done. Will not be recommending you. That is not a good service.

The service was not good enough as they thid not manage to do the brake fluid service. and they said that they can do everything for service.

I went to Elite on Saturday. They didn't have a suitable replacement tyre in stock so I left the wheel with them, they told me it would be ready on Monday. After phoning to check that it was ready I went to pick it up on Monday at about 4.00 pm. I asked for it to be fitted in place of the temporary spare to be told 'Theres a queue you'll have to wait an hour and a half. Fitting the new tyre in place has always been a normal part of the service when buying a new tyre as far as I'm concerned whatever queue they had. I'd already been in the queue since Saturday so I don't think it's reasonable to tell me in a takeaway it or leave it attitude that I'll have to wait an hour and a half. I've lived in Haywards Heath 40 years and always used Elite for tyres. Exhausts and MOTs on various cars that I've had. I won't be bothering them again.

My tyre warning light was on before my visit. Two new tyres were purchased. Before I left I was told the light would go out the next time the car was started. It didn't. I went back only to be told that the value sensor was broken and it would cost £75 to replace. Why this was not checked when the car was first presented ? As it could have easily been fixed. Very disappointed

Quite unhelpful. On a previous occasion, when trying to book an appointment, I was told that they don’t make appointments for tyres and I should just turn up, which is fair enough. On this occasion, I did just that, expecting to be able to leave the car with them until it could be fixed. I got the impression that I was a major inconvenience. I was told that the tyre I needed is not in stock (which I expected), but worse, cannot even be ordered in from anywhere. I had to drive my car back home with a flat tyre. I then made phone calls to Kwik-Fit and Blackcircles, and both were able to get the tyre I needed for the same day or next day. It felt like Elite could surely have done the same had they really wanted to. I then ordered the tyre from Blackcircles to be delivered and fitted at Elite, two days later. Elite promptly rejected the order, claiming that they did not have time on the date (a date which presumably they had offered). I then got the tyre from Kwik fit down the road for the same day. Overall, a disappointing experience that inconvenienced us considerably. Surprising as we have used Elite many times previously and been happy.

You were unable to solve the problem but charged me over £50 for the 20 minutes it took you to visibly check the vehicle. I understand it was a lack of equipment on your part. Should I try you again ?

Went to elite garages southampton to change my 4 tyres. Got them all changed within an hour as they were busy which us totally fine, when I got handed the car I was in a bit of a rusg so I just left straight away but the next day noticed one of the alloys had a big new mark around the rim which was made during the process, so I am guessing either the tyre machine was not adjusted properly and hit the rim or lack of focus when changing that one. My alloys were full of kerb marks which and I plan to have them refurbished soon and that is why I have not formaly complaint but if I had brand new alloys and this happened I would have been fuming. Understand they work under pressure but some jobs have to be done slowly and carefully.

I recently had my brake discs and pads replaced again after 13 months,after explaining the problem I'd had they didn't charge me for the work(only cost of parts).I was told the brakes are ok but unfortunately after coming home from holiday 10 days later I only just managed to get back to the garage with smoke coming from the front wheels,on inspection I've been told they don't know of the cause but best take it to Perrys. Not too happy .

Very disappointed my last visit , they solved problems with ABS but damaged my airbags and light flashing and didn’t sort the problem. I had no problem with air bags prior to my visit to your garage. I can not get MOT with the air bag light flashing and wasn’t offered a solution.

Appointment booked online 4 days prior for 2 front tyres. Chose 9am so it wouldn't impact on my work day too much. I arrived at 8.40 because the traffic was lighter than I expected. The guy on reception booked me in and I explained I would sit and wait. He said I had been double booked so there would be a bot of a wait. I sat in the waiting room. I waited and waited. Many blokes milling around, smoking in groups out the back, singing, dancing, swearing, general very loud banter but not much work happening. Eventually my car was ready at 11.10, over 2 hours of my work day missed. Manager apologised but didn't seem sincere, absolute chaos, poorly managed. Won't be returning.

Great service , helpful and really professional staff !!! The only thing was the guys was understaff and really busy just few members on full garage which extend my waiting time for flat tire to nearly 5 hours even with appointment !!!

Had to wait 1 and a half hours in spite of dropping off tyre a few hours before.Not impressed with staff at Haywards Heath apart from admin person.

Whilst I was pleased that the work was carried out much quicker than expected I drove home feeling satisfied. However on checking my tyres the following morning both the car computer and my hand held tyre pressure gauge showed all four tyres had been inflated with widely different pressures - 2.3, 2.5, 2.9 and one at 2.2 the correct pressure. Needless to say pretty awful considering.

I have used because they are near by, but actually find some of the staff rude and unhelpful. My last experience has confirmed this and I won’t be using them again.

This is the first time I have used Elite Garages, and I won't be going back. It was very easy to book, which was great, but that it is. As a female I am always slightly intimidated by going to a garage, and this garage is an example of why. This is not a friendly family run business. I also think I've been charged for services which I thought were free. And they broke my glove box! As I picked it up in the dark I hadn't noticed the contents of my glove box was on the floor until the morning and that it was broken - and they hadn't said anything. I can't fix it myself, but there is no way I'm going back there to try and get it sorted. Thankfully it was only and MOT and not a full service, which I'll now need to find somewhere different to go.

Really poor experience with what should have been a simple MOT at Haywards Heath. Issues ranged from initially being directed to the wrong test location (twice!) to being told the wrong date for a retest. Not once did I receive any form of apology or sympathy for the issues caused or the time wasted. I was made to feel as though the issues were my fault when they were not. More than happy for head office to contact me for a full review of the service I received.

Replaced my van tyre for me after getting a bad puncture on the day so fair enough. They didn’t have any choice on tyres so had to get the only one they had to offer - budget range. The guy I dealt with mostly was actually fine (can’t remember his name) but he was bald. Other old grey guy at the desk was very miserable and borderline rude. Won’t be going here again. Could do with a lesson in customer service to be honest.

I brought the car in at 8.30 for MOT and Service. At 2.30pm, the car had not been serviced and was still waiting. I was under the impression that bringing the car so early, it would be completed before lunch. I was told that another car had taken longer but at no point did someone call me to advise of this. The MOT was passed but with 2 advisories: 1.) front brake pads and 2.) front and rear bushes. 2 days later I took the car to a local garage to get serviced instead as I could not afford to take another day out to come to Canterbury. They replaced the brakes but on inspection of the bushes, they said there were very minor splits but they would not have written this up as an advisory. I was very disappointed overall with the lack of communication, inconvenience and extra cost I incurred having to pay the full MOT price without getting an MOT + Service package price.
