“Two days ago I contacted Elite Audio by email regarding the choosing of new power amps. I listed my system ( how else will anyone know your system) and sat back to wait. Not for long! Within the hour I recited a comprehensive email from Mark. Explaining what he thought could be improved and how he came to his analysis. Yesterday I ordered a pair of pre-loved Gato Audio 222 monoblock amplifiers. I received a tracking number within an hour and the amps were delivered at 11.15 am this morning. wOW Unpacking them showed they were exactly as the images on the site. They are now plugged into my system, I have to say Mark was spot on. The sound has a greater sense of scale with detail I didn't know was in the recordings.. Thank you so much for first class service with polite friendly interaction.”

“Where do I start! I can't thank EliteAudioUk enough for their help, professionalism, sale of the correct product for Me at the price I could afford, promp delivery, collection and helpful interaction with Me. I'd built a System over a year and a half and although happy with My Speakers & Subwoofers felt that My Amp wasn't performing as I wanted. I just wanted someone to give Me some advice, but didn't want to walk into an audio shop & be sold something I didn't necessarily need or could really afford. I did the free HiFi Health Check offered by Mark on YouTube & mentioned I wanted clarity from My System, I also said I was looking at Amplifiers. Shortly after, Mark contacted Me suggesting the Bluesound powernode n331 as it had more power than My current Amp with a clearer sound making it more suitable to really get My speakers playing to their full potential. I tried it on a 30 day return, but knew instantly it was the sound I'd been looking for. It was delivered swiftly & safely by DPD, Once I'd told EliteAudioUk I wanted to keep the powernode, they collected My Amp again by DPD & Payed Me the part exchange money we'd agreed. They've been supportive all the way through, always answering emails promptly & professionally. If I'm looking for equipment in the future I'd definitely look to these guys & highly recommend them.”

“Thank for the prompt delivery and 30-day trial of the Puritan PS 106 DC. Fitted it a few days ago and am I disappointed? Absolutely not! What an incredible piece of kit. On my journey through upgrades from, in the nineties, when using Linn and Naim and subsequent and more recent “improvements”, I have never encountered the difference in sound, separation, positioning, sound stage etc. as I did with this Puritan power switch. Their literature states that the improvements are “like improving every component in your system”. They are not wrong! Mark, you absolutely nailed it in my system health check and for that I thank you very much indeed. I will not be returning the Puritan. I consider it an absolute bargain. Mark and his team are highly recommended.”

“Long time over due , spent a morning auditioning some amplifiers. No pressure no selling by Mark just took some time with each amplifier and finished with my own amplifier model and then switched back in the preferred amp to really hear the difference. As always Mark was a great host and my friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the morning. It was a very interesting as Mark had sold me my current amp and it's been in my system for a long time so was a good choice at the time again with Marks input. Very professional and some good conversation and coffee. Can't wait for my next visit. First class service doesn't get better.”

“Having had a mere 37 year career break from vinyl I decided to return as a retirement present to self. Having bought a good midrange turntable from Elite Audio previously I approached them about an end-game (for me) setup. Initially we couldn’t make the numbers work but Mike worked tirelessly to put together a deal that was acceptable for us both. Martyn then kept me well informed on the progress of my new turntable. As a company their core ethos is genuinely happy customers and great sounding systems, regardless of price point. I would heartily recommend them.”

“Elite Audio are outstanding! I will start by saying that Elite Audio are the best hi-fi shop I have ever dealt with (alongside one other, more head-fi-centric shop that I frequent). I was recently looking for a specific streaming network player (which had unfortunately become discontinued). I contacted Mark to discuss and he suggested alternatives, from which I settled on one. Mark was extremely helpful, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable, and it was clear he understood exactly what I was after (and his description of the streamer I purchased later proved to be a spot-on). Martyn and the rest of the team were equally helpful and friendly, overseeing progress and keeping me informed at every stage - from ordering, through to agreeing the best day for delivery. “HIFI HEROES - ELITE AUDIO, LESSLOSS, LYNGDORF I have been a dedicated hifi and music fan for over 50 years. Recently retired from my lifetime career in Mechanical Engineering, over the last 3 years I have carefully assembled the best audio system I have owned. Much of this system has been bought from Elite Audio, I have visited thier premises several times and made many purchases, all of which I have been delighted with. Most recently I purchased a Lyngdorf TDAI 2210 amplifier and another LessLoss Firewall 640x mains filter to add to the LessLoss Firewalls already on my system. No hifi dealer has ever impressed me more than Elite Audio. Mark (owner) heads sales, assisted by his colleague Barry, They are both well informed about hifi products (Mark exceptionally so), offer intelligent considered advice, are welcoming, friendly, professional, prompt in answering enquiries and maintaining communications. Importantly, i never felt pressured, compelled or that, in any other sense, I was on the receiving end of unwelcome aggressive selling techniques during demos and in conversation or correspondance. They never made any false or misleading claims about any of the products we discussed. Every interaction I had with them, whether in person, by phone or email, was pleasant and enjoyable. The rest of the Elite Audio team I have encoutered are equally impressive and highly competent in thier roles. Overall Elite Audio deserve recognition for making the buying experience special, offering first class customer service and excellent value for money, including generous trade in allowances. In every possible way, Elite Audio have exceeded my expectations. The Lyngdorf TDAI 2210 integrated amplifier is, without doubt, the single most impressive piece of hifi equipment I have ever heard at a relatively attainable price point (£3500). It is a fully integrated amplifier, DAC, streamer and processor. It features Lyngdorfs exclusive RoomPerfect room correction, full digital EQ including multiple preset "Voices" and custom settings, proper bass managent for subwoofers and truly extensive connectivity which can be further expanded with optional modules. It can also function as a stand alone DAC, processor and preamp for a seperate stereo power amplifier. Even without RoomPerfect engaged it sounds stunning, seeming much more powerfull than its rated output would suggest in terms of scale, impact, dynamics and propulsive drive. This is likely due to the unusually high current @ 35amps peak per channel, while continuos power is quoted as a relatively modest 105 watts @ 8 ohms, peak power must be dramatically higher due to the very high peak current. Clarity, transparency, imaging and seperation compare favourably with dramatically more expensive amplifiers. It is very detailed, refined, open, neutral, natural, evenly balanced in frequency response on its default neutral "Voicing", fast and punchy, It has excellent transient impact, naturally extended decay, impressive pace, rythm and timing. The soundstage is big, spacious, wide, tall and with good depth behind the speakers and projection in front of them. Unless such unpleasant properties are evident in the recording, the Lyngdorf never sounds dry, thin, harsh, overly aggressive, unnaturally etched, excessively siblant, bright or fatiguing. Engaging RoomPerfect simply makes everthing I have described improve further, particularly the soundstage which obviously opens up more in all dimensions. There is absolutey no downside to RoomPerfect and it is easy to set up using the high quality microphone, cable and stand supplied with the amp. Despite never having set up any room correction system, it took less than 15 minutes to complete the measuring procedure. The "Voices" and custom EQ settings are a brilliant feature, its like having a vast selection of differently voiced amplifiers, selectable at the touch of a button. This amplifier is a truly outstanding stonking bargain. It completely outclasses every amplifier I have previously owned. The amplifier it replaced in my system had a full retail price approaching 3 times the price of the Lyngdorf, but could not compete with its sound quality or features. I am utterly amazed that Lyndorf are selling this for £3500, they could easily justify charging much more and deserve to totally dominate the market at this price point and well above, with this product. The LessLoss Firewall 640x mains filter is, also without doubt, the most impressive hifi accessory I have heard at a reasonable price point (from £654). Prior to first trying a LessLoss Firewall mains filter, I already had a lot of high quality mains conditioning and distribution in my system, dedicated heavy gauge mains wiring, MS HD Power wall sockets, 2 Isotek Titan One Evo3 single output high current conditioners, 2 Supra unfiltered mains blocks, a multitude of Ifi Audio AC Ipurifiers (Active mains noise cancelling modules) and Synergistic Research Pink fuses in all plugs of a selection of high quality power cables. When I first tried one, I was sceptical over whether the LessLoss filter would give any substantive improvement. It made an immediate and obvious improvement on my amplifier, with absolutely no reduction in dynamics or change in tonality, every aspect of the sound improved (Unlike too many hifi mains conditioning products which can strangle and/or colour the sound). I then tried it on a variety of other components in my system and in every case the benefit was obvious with absolutely no downside. i now have several LessLoss Firewall 640x mains filters throughout my system, 2 stacked together on the Lyngdorf and at least one on all other components. The LessLoss filters (Like most mains conditioning products), "burn in" with use and sound quality improves gradually and noticably over 200 to 300 hours of being continually powered up. With the filters on all components the improvement in every aspect of the sound quality is stunning. While not cheap, particularly when used throughout a system on all components, the LessLoss 640x Firewall represents good value for the level of improvement in the sound compared to other mains conditioners.”

“Mark from Elite Audio has guided me through the last few years of a 50 year HiFi journey which began in my late teens with a Pioneer PL-12D turntable, a Rotel RA-611 amp and KEF kit 3 speakers. My (now) system, all acquired through EA and listed at the end of his review, is one which, perhaps for the first time ever, gives me hour upon hour (upon hour) of fatigue free enjoyment of my somewhat eclectic library of music without any thoughts about upgrading ! I have full confidence in the advice I get from Mark which has always been based on an understanding of what I’m aiming to achieve and the budget I have to get there. The deals provided have always been good, with some being much better than I had anticipated. Mark has always been extremely responsive to my emails, even when, as I found out recently, he was, as we would say here in Northern Ireland, ‘up tae his oxsters’ at a Hi-Fi show. I mention Northern Ireland because, apart from occasional carrier delays which I guess everyone experiences, I have been very happy with how the EA team have communicated and organised the picking up and delivery of trade-ins and new kit. I can thoroughly recommend Mark and his team at Elite Audio, they have access to a wide range of top quality products, a thorough knowledge of those products and how to choose and use them together to build great systems, this, along with a real focus on customer service makes them a delight to deal with. If you are interested, my system and experience is as follows. Lots of CDs ripped to WAV files and stored on a Synology NAS. I use the android app ‘HiFI Cast’ to select and send the WAV files to... Electrocompaniet ECI 6 DX integrated amp feeding Graham Audio LS5/9 speakers and 2 x REL Classic 98 subs. I’ve had the speakers for a while and the recent addition of the EC amp and REL subs has given me what might just be as close to a ‘forever’ system as I’ll get, do read the great reviews for the amp and believe them ! it is just so musical, I love the speakers and can also thoroughly recommend using stereo subs.”
