Hello, I'm sorry you feel there was a problem with the delivery time. You ordered on 15/9 via Tracked 48 delivery and your item was delivered 2 days later on 17/9, as expected. If you would have preferred it to have been delivered sooner than 2 days, you could have chosen Tracked 24 which should have been next day. Reagrds, Element Replacement Ltd

Bought the better element of the two on offer at more money and paid £4.99 extra for p&p, that arrived with a bit of card wrapped around it, in a plastic bag , fitted it no problem. Cooked later that night and was very proud until the second night it tripped the fuses in the house and so I had to buy another element from somewhere else and it works fine and it arrived in bubble wrap inside a box and free delivery

Hello, I am sorry to hear your element tripped. If you had of contacted us we would of course have replaced it free of charge, as it was a genuine part and guaranteed for 12 months. I would point out that it would not have been packed loose in a plastic bag. All our elements which aren't boxed have cardboard around the terminals and are bubble wrapped in a polythene bag. Misleading dispatch times on the website and no customer service at all. Would not buy again. I ordered an urgently-needed part on a Thursday evening as the website advertised "order by 4pm weekdays for same day dispatch," thinking that obviously they would send the part on the Friday. I paid extra for postage to ensure it would arrive by the following day i.e. Saturday. Friday came and went with no update. I tried to call. No answer. I emailed. No response. Finally get an automated dispatch notice from them on the Friday evening. Then I get an email from Royal Mail on the Saturday saying they've received the parcel and will deliver it on the following Monday. The part was as described and it did the job but I selected this company and paid over the odds to have it two days earlier when I actually needed it. Could have got it cheaper elsewhere. Disappointed by the non-existent customer service too. I don't know if this is their usual business or if they have been impacted by Covid but, if so, they should say so on their website and not promise "same-day" dispatch when they wait 24 hours and then dispatch it after the post office has already closed. I could ask for a refund of my postage at least but I expect I'd be waiting forever. Please note: I have downgraded this review from one star to two stars after reading the response posted by the company. They deny having received my email but I have double-checked that it was sent by me from the correct address to the correct address so I am unhappy that a communications deficiency at their end has been attributed to the customer so flippantly rather than being investigated. They also state that all phone calls are answered and this is not the case because nobody answered when I called. Their website states "Next Day delivery available! Order by 4pm weekdays for same day dispatch" but this was clearly not upheld. The process as described with the post is not adequate to the claims made at the point of purchase and the company have not taken the opportunity to look into what actually happened in this case or to look at improving their service.

Hello, Sorry to hear you did not receive your item until the Monday, ordering Tracked 24 on Thursday evening means we would have hoped that would have reached you on Saturday. However, we do state on our website that Royal Mail do not guarantee Tracked 24 delivery, and this is clear in the title of the delivery service when you choose it upon checkout. With this being the case, we would dispute that our dispatch times are misleading. We dispatched the item on Friday, which you should expect with an order placed after 4pm Thursday. You point out this was after the Post Office closes, but I am not sure the relevance of this as Royal Mail collect all our post from us directly at approximately 5:30pm each week day, it does not go to a post office. I am sorry you feel we were unreachable as well. Our contact details and times are available on our website, and all phone calls are answered during opening times (Covid hours - 10am-4pm Monday to Friday), and we do not have any emails from you on our system, unless you have used an email address different to the one on your order? Once again, I am sorry you did not receive the item on the Saturday. Regards, Tom

Hello, Sorry to hear the elements are not lasting long. That part you ordered is guaranteed for 12 months, so if you have ordered the same part in the past you could have contacted us and we could have replaced it for you. However, these are genuine EGO parts, therefore if they are consistently only lasting 10 months, there will be a deficiency with the oven - likely the fan motor. Regards, Tom

They took my money and then told me that payment had failed. Ive been without a working oven or grill for 10 days now! really annoying!

Hello, we were advised that the payment had failed but can now see that it had gone through, if you had contacted us at the time it could easily have been sorted out earlier. We do apologise for this and will dispatch it today and upgrade to Tracked 24 delivery.

Hello, Of course I am sorry to hear that, however I would point out that changing the element in itself could not cause a fire! Therefore, there must have been other issues with the oven. Arrived very quickly however stopped working after 1 week. Kept tripping the electrics. Got another part (from elsewhere and oven works fine)

Dear Miss Taylor. We do not supply fitting instructions for our elements because the methods of fitting can vary greatly between makes and models and customers don't necessarily supply us with the model number information (as in this case). The fact that we supplied the correct part which is now fitted and working, I feel that a one star review is somewhat harsh given that we have no control over the difficulty level encountered when fitting the parts. According to their website the element I purchased would fit my oven, however, when we tried to install it we discovered that it had four connections points and the old one only had two. While they refunded the item they would not refund the postage as they advised that we could still use it by only using two of the four connection points, something we felt would be unsafe. Not just dissatisfied but appalled at the potentially dangerous advice I was given and their response that 'it is perfectly safe otherwise they wouldn't be manufactured this way and our engineers would not advise to fit them' when I said I didn't think it would be safe to do as they suggested. I have since discovered from another site, who will be getting all of my future custom, that there are two different types of element for this oven depending on when it was made and they are not interchangeable.

Hello Marc, I'm sorry the element didn't fit, you don't seem to have contacted us to allow us to remedy this. As we don't have any information about your oven we can't confirm the correct element. If you would contact us on Monday we will ensure you get the correct element or a full refund

Your model number brings up two different fan oven element depending on the date of manufacture. For this reason we always recommend comparing the image of our parts with the one in your oven before ordering.

I was sent the incorrect element I emailed the company immediately and have yet to receive a reply 5 days later. Obviously this has meant I have been without a functioning oven. The local takeaways are no doubt grateful though.
