“Order arrived damaged. Electrical World are reluctant to replace and instead wants to offer 10% off a faulty product. I've had to request a replacement three times as they only want to offer a discount on a product that is broken and useless. Still in the process of sorting this out but received an email asking for a review. Terrible customer service”

“18th January 2023. I was very pleased with the service I received from Electrical World after ordering a Dimplex FX20VE downflow fan heater, to replace my Glen Powerflow bathroom heater that has been in use since April 1999, and is still in working order, but is now a backup spare. The FX20VE three wall fixing points exactly matched the old Glen fixing points, so I did not have to drill any other holes in my bathroom tiles. There was a slight difference in how the power supply inside the unit was connected, but this only involved an easily made short extension to the incoming power cable, to connect it to the now fixed connection in the FX20VE. The other notable changes from the Glen Powerflow are the Red Neon light indicating the unit is switched on, replacing the mechanical On/Off indicator, the Pull Cord switch now only requires a very light pull to operate, and once switched on, there is an automatic timer that switches the unit Off after 30 minutes. When this operates you have to gently pull the Pull Cord twice to start the heater again. As with the Glen Powerflow, the Dimplex FX20VE is a 2kW output and is factory set to 1kW. An internal sliding switch sets the output you require. My heater was shipped by Electrical World on the 3rd of January 23, I received it on the 6th of January 23, and fitted in 30 minutes the same day.”
