“I'm no good at jigsaws but I assembled my hen run with little difficulty. It would have paid me to have read the diagrams more than once. It took me ages to sort out the nest box which only has four parts! The quality over all is impressive. The screws were self-tapping and sharp so the only tools I needed were a bradawl and two Phillips drivers. (I did have to drill four holes in the roof). I'm going to test it out with a chicken carcase before I sacrifice more live hens on the fox's altar. Peter J”

“Chicken home was delivered very quickly as promised by Egg Shell. It is very good quality and comes as flatpack but was very easy to put together. I would definately recomend this product.”

“Customer service eggcellent! Product arrived as predicted and was well packed - surviving well the odd knock or two from the delivery firm. All parts present, including extra screws, and construction reasonably easy - although diagrams a little fuzzy in places. Took me (a woman) a little under 11/2 hrs to complete on my own - chickens now happy in their new home!”

“Excellent service - henhouse delivered the day after I ordered it. Very well designed and well constructed. Assembly instructions not that clear - bit like IKEA!! It's possible to assemble the sides of the house incorrectly, everything fits together perfectly until you get to the very last stage. Contacted Eggshell and within 5 minutes they suggested that I look again at the side panels and sure enough I had assembled them upside down! Maybe a slight update/rewrite of the assembly instructions could benefit future customers. Al in all a very good buy and very helpful and prompt service from Eggshall.”

“Every thing was great, comms, delivery time "next day in fact" product was better than expected.. the only slight issue was that when i put the handle on the run the wood block split as it was already splitting no big deal though not going whine over something so trivial.. my chickens are in already and giving us fresh eggs daily... I would have no issue and in fact already have recommended them to others as they've been asking where i got it and they're impressed...”

“in a word, brilliant! We bought the Nelly coop. run. and automatic door opener. Can't fault the service, arrived on time, and the coop is superb. To be honest I did have reservations about the quality, given that we only paid £159 for it, but to be fair its excellent, came with full instructions, fitted together perfectly, and even came with extra screws. We haven't had time to build the run or install the door opener yet, but I have no doubt the same will apply. Thank you so much, we are very happy customers, and I have no doubt we'll be back soon for more.”

“Ordered the Kingston coop with run, lots of these on the market but the higher grade mesh made me choose Eggshell (although mesh was black painted not plastic coated as described). Delivery was excellent and within a few days. Assembly was simple with clear instructions and although its soft-wood the design is solid. I'll be keeping 3 chickens in the coop with access to a larger area during the day. Great design can't wait to get some chickens into their new home.”

“Questions asked by email answered promptly. Phone call to let me know order was dispatched was friendly and helpful. Good quality goods. Numbers of chickens suggested for each coop is definitely for smaller birds. Its a pity that company don't make larger coops as the product is well made and finished . To be recommended”

“Really pleased with the chicken coop, its a quality product and everything which was supposed to be included in the box; was present & correct. The instructions were a bit limited but its not taxing to work it out & its fun to put it all together, and the product arrived on the day confirmed. I assembled the coop yesterday, I personally would not have 6 - 8 chickens in this, and I also gave it a another coat of wood preserve for longevity, 4 full size chickens would be far more comfortable. Overall - good product and excellent value for money; no complaints.”

“Ordered on Saturday, delivered on Tuesday - excellent service. Two small niggles. The bottom piece of the nest box had been broken in transit, but glue and a couple of panel pins fixed it. Where the perches slot in, the slots on the nest box side were in the wrong place - looks as though the piece of wood had been put in the wrong way - easily fixed with a dremmel! Very impressed with the design, small touches like having a prop to hold the nest box open, and the handle to open the door show that a lot of thought has gone into it. Went together very quickly and was easier to assemble than most flat pack furniture! Would definitely recommend.”
