“Borderline acceptable; possibly not. Price on the website are for the cheapest jobs at £100. With VAT and shipping the job on my ABS/ESP was higher. So no mention price. Only a phone call to say that the unit was read and to pay up to get the unit shipped back. A word that enters my mind is 'disingenuous'. The unit should be back with me tomorrow. Hopefully, it now works so that disappointment left by this rather streetwise practice is smoothed over.”

“from posting the ECU off for repairs we were kept in touch every step of the way. The unit was promptly repaired and returned and back on the car , the EPS and ABS lights went out. I couldn't ask for a better service and will recommend this company.”

“Brilliant service with a very fast turnaround with updates from sending the ECU for repairs to getting the part back. ABS & ESP lights went out after fitting. I would recommend this company to anyone with this issue. Would recommend ECU testing .”

“Very quick and professional service. Ecu sent, tested and review given within 2 days. After accepting the price which was reasonable it was fixed and sent back that night so a 3 day turnaround. Unit works fine now. Very impressed.”

“We have used ECU testing for a number of years now never had an issue everything we have sent away has been repaired or on the odd occasion its beyond repair the parts been retuned to us with only postage costs, therefore as an independent garage and customers looking to save money where they can ECU Testing's services are key to us repairing customers cars and keeping them on the road where the only other option for repair is a costly dealer only replacement part. Cannot fault the service and the costs Steve A1BN Stevenage”

“Not alone was my unit not fixed - it is now damaged as it has issues that did not exist before ECU Testing repaired it. My car now lurches out of corners. I have spent well over 650euro for all the work - so sending it back to ECU for another attempt to fix it is not financially viable at this point. Initially, I had been impressed but now Am very disappointed with poor response from ECU Testing The dealership would have cost >1k - if I had had that kind of money I would have gone that route and had it done in a day.”

Hi Maeve When we saw your unit in originally we found your unit to be faulty for the reported fault you described, you contacted us 2 weeks later to say that you were experiencing issues and so we arranged for our technical assistance coordinator to contact you to discuss this further, we received your unit back in under warranty and the unit tested with no faults found as it was performing and functioning as it should do. based on your faults we advised that it could be an external issue on the vehicle and the unit was dispatched back out to you. “had great treatment from ecu testing I was informed throughout the whole procedure from collection all the way to letting me know when it was to be delivered back, a great company to deal with. car has run satisfactory since fitting the repaired ecu”
