“I have to say that the whole process from my first contact with Anglia First- who passed me on to EGD- took a very long time. Apparently my initial enquiry was not logged, so the matter had to be explained fully for a second time. Then there was another wait, at the end of which I was told that a spare part had to be obtained. More time passed. Then, very suddenly, I was told that an engineer(correct term?) was on his way that same day. In other words, I was given no notice. Once he had arrived, the work was completed very quickly. I do think I should not have had to make so many calls to get things moving! N. Spruytenburg”

“I had previously engaged Eastern Garage Doors to fit two blue garage doors and had been very pleased with the level of service and quality of the work done by the fitters and the substantial feel of the product installed. On the second occasion they fitted a white standard garage door for me. The 4 point locking attachment being more secure with exposed position of the garage. The two fitters worked late into the evening to modify my low garage roof joist to let the door pass smoothly. The team completed the site visit, supply and fit in just a few days as we were due to go on holiday. Very happy customer. Thanks”

This spoke volumes to us straight away! Once we'd ordered the door, they kept us informed about the status of the order as promised. “My garage door was no longer working. The mechanism had jammed with the door open and I had cut the cables in order to close and lock it. The engineer arrived when I was told he would. He replaced the cables and other worn components and the door works better now than it ever did. I am completely satisfied with the result and the cost.”
