“I tried the Flawless nightly serum after reading an article on it - I also purchased the face cleanser to try. Both products are great, really great - but! the mechanism on the pump for the night serum has broken, making it near on impossible to access the remaining 2/3rds of product!
This is clearly a very good serum and worth the money - but I hate the packaging. I would so much rather have a glass jar or a plastic tube even - something that won't break...”

Having watched a video where she also recommended other less expensive products I decided to try hers and haven't looked back. I wish she had been around when I was younger. However, flying with hand baggage I find I have to decant the products as her containers are so bulky.”

“I like these products immensely, but I think the packaging could be improved. The cleanser pump bottle stops pumping with a significant amount of product remaining in the bottle. For the next week or so the bottle has to be stored upside down and the lid removed to get the rest of the product out. The gossamer sunscreen often stops pumping after a few days of use, and I've had to cut the pack open to access the product. Having said that, the last 2 tubes have been much better, so hopefully that problem has been fixed. The flawless lip could have an applicator built in for fingerless application. And it would be good if all the products came in a travel size, as they take up a lot of room if away for a weekend or even a week. I have taken to decanting to smaller containers but the product dries out a bit and becomes gritty. But the products themselves, I'm very happy with. Would love to see a chemical exfoliant added to the range.”

“Absolutely love the product and it totally saved my skin but I’ve stopped using brightly and nightly because of the packaging- the pump often wouldn’t work and I’m sure I am probably wasting so much left inside when throwing it away at the end. Would come back to it if it was in a better container!”

However, the packaging isn’t always great.
The pumps fail every time on the Nightly Serum such that I have to force the packaging open several times to discover a load of product is still inside.
And the bulky packaging is no use for travelling when you have carry-on or are needing to travel light. I’ve pleaded many times for travel sizes which are clearly available as the eye cream is a smaller size.”

My favourite products are Brightly and Nightly and I would never be without the moisturiser.
I have used the Cleanser and it’s fine, but I get similar results with a foaming cleanser, by a competitor, which is less expensive.
I have the lip tint - which I use daily.
I treat myself to the Body Moisturiser occasionally - I think it’s too expensive for every day use.
I do like that I get rewards for buying and reviewing, although spending those rewards is restricted to the value of £10 per order - I would like to save my rewards up and use them all in one go.
Overall - I am a fan of Dr Sam’s and happy to recommend that anyone should try them”
“Great uncomplicated products and clean packaging. It’s easy to add Brightly or Nightly to the routine. However, as the packaging all looks the same it can get confusing. I would propose a subtle difference mark on the top of cap - De bossed icons or wording . . . “spf 50” “nightly” (closed eye icon) etc. It hasn’t stopped me from buying the products repeatedly though, so it’s a small observation to help navigate through the 5 products I generally have on the shelf.”
“Love the product especially Nightly even though it is fairly pricey it leaves the skin feeling lovely. The only thing that puts me off is the packaging. Very often I think it’s finished but if I leave it for a couple of days there’s still product left. Also some seem to run out much quicker than others. I have been advised to bang the container but this doesn’t seem very satisfactory. Fingers crossed for a makeover.”
“Customer service advice leaves a lot to be desired.
However the products are good. I am an avid user of Brightly, Nightly , Nightly eye, Cleanser, full fat moisturiser and sunCream. I am very happy with the results of these products however a stronger vit c or retinol would maybe be appreciated.
Tried gossamer tinted, product good but not good enough to buy again due to having to dispense out of a cut off corner after 2.5weeks. The pump no longer worked so I was disappointed.”
“I adore these products and have purchased the entire range many many times over and will continue to do so. My only issue is with the pumps on the cleanser and on gossamer spf as they stop working when you are only a quarter of the way through the bottle and you have to cut it open to get the product out!!
