“Excellent service and advise provided by Shoiab Jillani of Disk Doctors London. Restored Raid 5 array with two failed hard drives out of 4, on a Buffalo Terastation (23 months old!!), with 100% critical data recovery. All completed within 3 days. Offered to work Saturday as well as Sunday. Had been advised by Buffalo Support to go to Kroll Ontrack who gave me a 30% to 40% chance of data recovery. Shoiab gave me completely free and impartial recovery advise and options on other units, such as USB memory, 3 other Buffalo Terastations (only 14 months old!!) which had two failed drives. Seems Buffalo are in the habit of providing cheap desktop hard drives on NAS units which are meant to be on 24x7x365!! Buffalo told be literally to go away and Disk Doctors bailed me out with 100% success!”

“I came to Disk Doctors after my computer was hacked remotely and wiped. I was told by Apple that there was nothing left on my hard drive to recover. I came to Disk Doctors for a second opinion, they ran the test for free and found traces of jpeg files on my laptop. They recovered over 1000 photos of my travels around Europe, and I am so grateful for that. Would 100% recommend!!!!”

“I would absolutely recommend Disk Doctors to anyone who is in the unfortunate position of having lost data from a computer and is not able to recover this themselves. Disk Doctors are 100% professional, experienced and brilliant at what they do. They restored over 50MB of data from my laptop that had been mistakenly deleted by a repair company and I could not have carried on working without this. I am now recommending them to everyone I know. You should keep their number somewhere handy at all times!”

“Disk Doctors did an incredible job of recovering many years' worth of my files after a complex disk failure. They said it was the most difficult recovery they had ever attempted. It took several months of slow and painstaking recovery and I was able to use essentially all my data afterwards. It was time and money well spent and I would use DD again after any future disk failure.”

“Having got extremely frustrated trying to extract all my documents from a faulty external hard drive I decided to fork out and get a professional company to help me out. I contacted Disk Doctor LABs who I found from a web search. I have to say they were great from the off! Very accommodating, offered me a good price (as I am retired) which I could afford, They arranged for my hard drive to be picked up (their cost) which happened the next day. They then tested the hard drive very quickly, and by the next day confirmed that they found and could retrieve my documents. Based on that I committed to them proceeding. Within a few days I got my hard drive back re formatted with access to all my lost documents. All through the process they regularly kept me updated. I am very please with their customer service and very happy with the results, would highly recommend, and will use again if unfortunately I need their help again.”

“Although they did not seem to be cheaper than other options I spoke with they were straightforward to deal with and delivered my data back as promised without complications and in a timely matter. If placed in this situation again I would surely use them without question.”

“I was not impressed with the service as things where not communicated properly resulting in me having to pay £400 for nothing and they ruined my disk so I was not able to ever get my data when I went to another company”

I have gone through your details, your review does not reflect the actual case. You brought in a damage laptop hard drive for which we sent you a no obligation quote for the recovery of data for £499 + VAT which was approved/agreed by you in your email to us (we have record of this email), Based on your approval, we started the recovery work on the drive. The data was successfully recovered and file list was sent to you by email, we waited to hear back from you but there was no response until the 11th day following our inquiry in which you stated that you are unable to arrange the payment and does not want the data. You were explained that you have already approved the quote, and we carried out the recovery work based on your approval, and if you declined after approval you will have to pay 50% of the approved quote so we can cover the cost incurred in recovering your data (our terms and conditions in quotation are clear on this). Basically you abandoned the job after approval, and you paid £250 not £400 following which we closed the case. Our quotation was also sent to you by email and was very clear of the charge which you agreed. Your drive was damage and was exactly in the same condition. The drive has to be taken to a data recovery specialist for the data to be recovered. We believe this review is totally unfair and does not represent actual situation.
