“All my boys have attended Diddikicks, however how good it is, is purely based on how good the coach is taking the group.”

“I brought my child (aged three) to the Heckmondwike facility with weekend and I came away with mixed feeling. First of all, coach joe and coach Chris had a very lively, helpful and enthusiastic approach to there coaching style. however, coach sufyaan sat on the mats on his phone, for the majority of the lesson, and seemed very unenergetic in his approach to the role and disregarded some of the kids and avoided interaction. Even after this bad experience my kid would love to come again as he thoroughly enjoyed being led by the coaches.”

Hi Shaun. So sorry about the delay. Your starter pack was posted on Monday, collected by Hermes at 16;45. It should have been with you within 48 hours (of posting) but that 's clearly not the case. If it doesn't arrive tomorrow, can you call us on 0161 300 4665 and we'll chase up why that's not been delivered in time. We'd hate for you to not have it before your class this Saturday.

“My son has only been once for a trial. I registered him a while before he was old enough but I had to contact them once he was to find out when he would get a place. I signed up & ordered his kit on Saturday but it only arrived at 5pm the following Friday so was too late to wash it before his first class. We didn’t get a sticker chart as stated in the pack & the smallest kit size is 18 months plus - our son is small for his age so the kit is too big for him”

Hi, Thanks for your review and bringing up your issues to us here. I can see your child turned 18 months at the end of July and was invited down a week later, we don't make anyone wait longer than they need to so we would have been in touch to invite him down as soon as there was space as it is all dependent on space at the time of him turning 18 months. If the class was full at the time of him turning 18 months we would have needed to wait for a space to invite him down. Your kit was sent on the Monday after you signing up on the previous Saturday and delivery was attempted twice before being delivered on the Friday at 1530. Your email and telephone number was also given to Hermes for tracking details. Apologies you didn't receive a sticker chart, this has not been brought to our attention before this review but now it has we will send 1 out today for you so that should be with you before this weekend. Unfortunately the 18 months kit is the smallest we do as our age range for classes is 18 months - 5 years so the kit sizes reflect these age groups. Hopefully your little one will grow into it soon and continue to enjoy our classes. Thanks, Becky TeamDiddi

Hi, Sorry you felt the clothes were of poor quality for the price. I can see you have only recently signed up and so will have recieved our starter pack which includes a football kit, football, water bottle, backpack and sticker chart all delivered to your home address for £24.99. All of this is discounted as it is part of your sign up fee and so you get a lot for the price paid. Our football kits are of the highest quality and so I have emailed you to gain more insight into what the problem seemed to be with your kit upon receiving it a couple of weeks ago to see what we can do to fix this for you. “We have only had one trial and I've signed my son up because he loves playing with a football and watching other toddlers have fun with a football. I think it will be great for him in the long run. Hoping there will be some outdoor sessions in good weather and a lot more activities to what I have seen so far for the children to develop there skills.”

“Although jaxon enjoys diddikicks i feel the classes need to be more structured, there are 3 coaches yet there only ever seems to be 1 doing anything at time. When it’s time to change the activity the coach shouts to instruct the class but the children don’t pay attention as you can hardly hear the instruction. I think a whistle would be beneficial as it’s louder and the class would know to pay attention when the whistle blows”

We feel this may be more of a training issue than a whistle needed therefore we have passed your review onto the Merseyside team. “Unfortunately the bag broke after two weeks (zip broke) and the kit was far too big and my son is big for 2 years old and I ordered him the smallest kit BUT the classes were amazing and the staff were lovely just the merchandise I wasn’t happy with for the price x”

Hi Sarah, Sorry to hear you weren't happy with the sizing, the kit you received is the smallest we do at the minute however we have changed our sizing to include a smaller size which will be coming into stock soon. I would be more than happy to send you the first one that comes in so your little one can have a kit that fits him better. “My 3 yr old really enjoys the football and games they play and the coaches are brilliant and create a friendly environment. A significant negative is the £25 you have to pay for the Diddikicks kit, which is expensive, compulsory and of poor quality.”

Hi Christopher, Thanks for your review and glad to hear your little one is enjoying being part of TeamDiddi! I would just like to pick up on the negative you have mentioned and I assume the reason for 3 stars instead of 5. The £24.99 joining fee is not just for the kit, you also get a water bottle, football, backpack, sticker chart and it all delivered to your home address. To buy all of these items seperately on our shop would cost over £40 so the price is really a bargain on sign up! Not only is it a bargain but that fee also reserves your space in the class to start attending every week. This is due to large waiting lists for most of our classes. I can see you waited a couple of months after registering for a place so will appreciate this. With regards to the quality of the kit we take a lot of pride in the quality and care that goes into making our bespoke kits and if there is ever a problem we do our best to fix this straight away. If you haven't already been in touch about your kit please email dispatch@diddikicks.co.uk with the issues you feel effect the quality of your child's kit and they will discuss further with you. “I find it a bit disorganised and not necessarily as structured as id expect from a kids club that I have been to before. If my son didn’t enjoy the idea of coming, I’d probably stop to be honest. I am looking for alternatives but for now, it is ok”

“The taster session was great although our first session last week was ran by a younger lady, it was apparent she was not as experienced as the former leader which showed in children crying and getting bored.”

“The neck on the top is abit to open, other than that it’s lovely. Sadly we got a message to say was cancelled due to weather but still paid the £52 upfront. Attended this week and my little boy loves it!”
