“Your delivery service is shocking. I have ordered twice,both times the delivery was late,if fact the second time was the next day. Why do you not offer a next day delivery with a time. I would gladly pay the fee. The product is great.”

“Service and delivery very efficient, most of the items in the hamper were well received but the tea was apparently too weak ( they're used to Yorkshire tea!) And the scones were rather dry and stodgy.”

“I ordered from Devon (on holiday) as a gift for my step dads birthday. I chose the date to be delivered, so it would be there on the day for him. It wasn't, it was a day late and they had gone away to Scotland. Luckily enough a neighbour took it in and when he was back he said it was tasty. No good gift, but the delivery is not on the date as required. This could be a Royal mail issue. But if it isn't going to come on that date for definite (or before.) I would probably not have purchased. (Bought on 25th, for 29th birthday, sent 27th recieved 30th) It's a good site and selection, and like I said, he was happy with the gift.”

“The hamper looked great and purchasing was very easy and straight forward. Unfortunately we did not get the hamper in good condition. The delivery was scheduled and I waited in all day however I got a message from the courier to say they were unable to deliver as they had no contact number and couldn't find the address. They rescheduled the delivery unfortunately for the day of the party (the one I had purchased for) but I was already at the venue by the time I got the notification. They then just arrived to deliver however this was now 3 days after the original delivery date and I was at work in London so they just left it outside my front door. We thought it was left with a neighbour but it turned out the signature was actually the driver (we could see this on our Ring door bell). It was left all day in the blazing sun, the cream was unusable, the scones were hot and sweaty and the only things salvageable was the tea bags and the biscuits. Whilst this may have been a beautiful hamper to start off the appalling delivery ruined it. It also cost me more money as I had to go out and buy the items for the tea party (my nans 94th birthday) which you can imagine in the shops was much more expensive and probably not as good in quality. Apologies to Devon hampers but the delivery company really let you down.”

“No problem with the product but it was delivered a day late when I'd asked the recipient to stay in on the expected date of delivery. I was given a very terse reply when I emailed the company.”

“Initial response to enquiry was very good. Free delivery very good. On receipt of order,1 item missing. Prompt response and delivery of missing item very good. Would hesitate before ordering again as it was a surprise birthday gift that left us dissapointed.”

“The presentation, clotted cream and jam were good but very underwhelmed with the scones. Very small and really nothing special. I ordered scones and brownies for my friend plus plain and sultana for me and my partner to share. She was thrilled with being sent a treat but did admit the scones were just ok. I think that's the reason for all the 5 star reviews as the actual recipient doesn't leave the review but the sender. And most people would be reluctant to seem ungrateful for a gift. I'm a bit disappointed and probably will try another company next time, sorry.”

“Purchased for my brother's birthday who's in a care home. Feedback was, the jam was very sweet and the chocolate brownies were a bit on the hard side, but it was a total surprise to him and overall, dispute his comment was all eaten and enjoyed. All delivered as required, so all good.”

“Just 1 let down in the hamper, and in my opinion it should be the show piece, and that was the scones (very very basic) Highlight was the jam, fantastic.”

“Was a bit disappointed with my hamper, had them before , scones weren’t very nice but I’m sure that’s not usual , they were very claggy and hard , still ate them with plenty of ham and cream”
