“They have been excellent in the past but this Christmas has been a disaster. The hamper was 47 days late and in poor condition when finally deliver well after Christmas. They blame DHL who they are replacing which should help going forward. Devon Heaven have disputed my claim that they were 47 days late delivering the hamper. Please do your own Maths. Delivery due 5th Dec 2025. Hamper lost. Failed to send out new hamper before Christmas. New hamper sent out January 2026, delivered 21st January 2026. 21 +26 = 47 Days late.”

Thank you for your feedback, and we’re very sorry for the disappointment caused with this Christmas delivery. To clarify the situation, DHL unfortunately held your parcel at their depot for an extended period due to adverse weather conditions, which caused widespread disruption across their network. We completely understand how frustrating this must have been, especially for a Christmas gift, but the parcel was not 47 days late. After the missed delivery and the Christmas shutdown period, our team reopened on 6th January, and we re-sent the order immediately. That said, the condition of the hamper on arrival is absolutely not the standard we expect from our couriers, and we’re very sorry it reached you in poor shape. DHL’s handling was clearly not acceptable here, and as mentioned, we are in the process of replacing them to improve our service going forward. We truly appreciate your past support and hope we can restore your confidence in us.

“My best friend broke her ankle and I thought to end her flowers. Then I remembered how I'd previously sent her a Devon Heaven hamper and how much she had enjoyed it, so I sent one of those instead. It was easy to order and great value and thoroughly enjoyed by my friend and her family. I would recommend these hampers as a treat for anyone.”

“my parents were pleased with the cream tea, i have sent them several times and they have always been well recieved and enjoyed, they were a day late than expected, but Devon Heaven alerted us that there was a delay. “Easy to order and a quick delivery. A variety of variations on a theme which means you can find something to suit a variety of tastes. This was a gift and arrived just before lunch which immediately became a cream tea! My son and his wife, who is partial to a scone, seemed pleased with it! This is the second order we have made and I would use them again. Only potential problem was that the parcel was left on the doorstep of a block of flats but no-one pressed the buzzer - fortunately I received a text to say it was delivered and messaged my son who was in (hence my choice of delivery date) and went to check!”
