“The order of 50 bags of 40mm grey slate went smooth and the delivery timescale was excellent, so thank you. The slate itself is of good quality, but if you're reading this and wondering about the consistency of 40mm sizes within the bags I will say in my experience there were very large pieces within many of the bags, but for my project of using it as a border around a new block paved driveway it had no impact and was well received, but if you were thinking of using it as a pathway you may want to go for 20mm or at least contact Decorative Aggregates who will no doubt advise you accordingly. No complaints from me though, just an observation and would definitely use Decorative Aggregates again.”

“Delivery came to my home address, and not to my customers address which I had given for delivery. It is the second time this has happened. The delivery also blocked my van in, so I couldn't load it into my van either, which meant moving it twice. However I would order from them again, but I would double check the delivery address when the confirmation email comes.”

We made the delivery to the address provided by yourself when ordering online - a member of the team has emailed you to confirm with you that this was the address entered on the order. The delivery driver should leave goods either where instructed by the customer or in a safe and sensible place, and we do apologise that the goods were left in an inconvenient location.

“They Delivered today 9 December 21 they where meant to deliver at 2nd December. Tried to call them no answer not responsible for their costumer and their products to reach the costumer on time they promised.”

As you may have seen in mass media, the UK haulage network is currently facing a serious driver shortage which is leading to potential delays across all sectors. We have advised on our website and email communications that due to this, some orders may experience delays of up to 2 working days or more. The Decorative Aggregates team is working hard to answer all calls however the automatic queuing system sounds as if it's ringing out. “Delivery driver could not have been more helpful. Different to the sales girl I ordered with whose answer to my question - will the driver place the pallet behind the gate on my drive was - he will drop off kerbside. And that was it and we both put the phone down. I took a chance after thinking about it. I had had a delivery of the same product earlier this year with no problems at all, so ordered online. Shame about the sales office.”

“One day late with delivery, pallet was delivered in a van with a pump up truck it was near impossible to move on gravel driveway. Pallet was left blocking access to driveway impeding my neighbour and myself. Driver did everything possible to manhandle the pallet but it was impossible to manoeuvre. I spent three hours transferring product to my garden using buckets !”

“Good communication on anticipated delivery date, driver placed the pallet right next to the border the chippings had to go on (not kerbside or that will do), actually thought about it, and gained a happy customer who will use Decorative Aggregates again”
