They Delivered today 9 December 21 they where meant to deliver at 2nd December. Tried to call them no answer not responsible for their costumer and their products to reach the costumer on time they promised.

Hello, thank you for your review. We apologise that you experienced a delay with your delivery. As you may have seen in mass media, the UK haulage network is currently facing a serious driver shortage which is leading to potential delays across all sectors. We have advised on our website and email communications that due to this, some orders may experience delays of up to 2 working days or more. The Decorative Aggregates team is working hard to answer all calls however the automatic queuing system sounds as if it's ringing out. Once again we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused however we are pleased the goods have now been delivered.

Very disappointing, arranged for the delivery on the Friday and turned up on the Monday, damaged. Sent an email to complain, still waiting on a response. Very poor.

bags full of water! half water half purple slates! and still very dirty! needed loads more fresh water to wash the slate so it actually looked purple.

Hello Mary, thank you for your review. We do apologise if there was water in the bags - please may you contact us directly at enquiries@derbyaggs.com and we will look into this promptly. We advise on our website that to ensure the natural beauty of the slate is maintained, we do not handle the material or process it more than is required and the slate may occasionally arrive with a natural grey coloured dust covering which will be naturally rinsed by rainfall and may take a few weeks for the true colour to show.

As of yet we have been given two delivery dates we have made sure we were available , but our order has not arrived and the money has been taken out of my account .

My delivery did not turn up on the day that they confirmed and I could not then contact them to check why and arrange another deliver. I am still awaiting a reply from my email I sent 2 weeks ago.

Good Morning Mr Carlin, We do apologise for any delay experienced with the delivery. We outsource our deliveries to independent couriers. There is currently an issue with driver shortage. As a result we advise on our website and checkout page that some orders may experience delays of up to 2 working days or more. Once again we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. Very disappointed with my order. The stones were much larger than I wanted and a totally different colour. The delivery man assured me they would change colour but not so far

The plum colour does not match other plum coloured slate I have, this is more pale grey plum! plus large amount of it was bigger than 40mm, overall I am disappointed. Driver spilt a lot near driveway, which I said I would sweep up. He said there's a bit on road...quite a bit on the road as pallet collapsed. He watched as I swept and shovelled it all up. Overall not great!!

Hello Linda, we're sorry that the colour didn't match. Slate is a natural product sourced directly from the quarry, so different batches of slate may appear slightly different in colour. Please could you email us at enquiries@derbyaggs.com with pictures and we will look into it for you. Additionally, please accept our sincerest apologies for the service experience during the delivery process. We outsource our deliveries to independent third party hauliers and all goods and pallets leave us in top condition and we do not expect our customers to have to sweep goods off the road, and we will be investigating this thoroughly.

Not happy with the delivery the driver left me with 2 wooden pallets that I had to pay someone to take a way .

I only asked for a simple call to say when the gravel was being delivered. Left in the dark. Second disappointed occasion. If there was another choice I would have gone elsewhere

Hello Mr Pikey thank you for your review.As you may have seen on the national news and on our website , the haulage network is currently under extreme strain and it is even affecting deliveries to supermarkets, pubs and fast food outlets. We use independent hauliers who are facing great challenges because of the driver shortage and volume of freight. We totally appreciate how helpful a call 1 hour before can be but given the current circumstances, we also understand why our haulage partners may be prioritising speed of delivery over communication. Other companies within our sector are also experiencing the same issues. Your one star review therefore does seem a little harsh but we hope you were happy with the product.

If I could have put zero I would - worst aggregate delivery but so glad used as trial before placing main order - do not use

I’m general, all went well with my order, except that my stones turned up a day earlier than scheduled! Luckily my son was at home to help shift the bags off the pallet. Otherwise, the quality of the product, website ordering and how much stone is needed calculator were excellent.

We're very sorry your order came a day early - we can understand how this may have been inconvenient. The UK haulage network is currently under a heavy strain due to driver shortages and some deliveries are unusually arriving early on some very rare occasions and we sincerely apologise for this. We are glad it worked out in the end for you and we're pleased you are so happy with the slate.

Very disappointed driver was so posed to call an hour before but never did and put them on the drive so had to get them moved myself

We outsource all our deliveries to independent couriers and request that they follow the delivery instructions provided by our customers. We completely understand how inconvenient it may have been for you not to receive this call as requested, and we will be investigating this with the courier to ensure that in the future the drivers call customers one hour before delivery.

Customer service was a disgrace. Order wasn't delivered when it was meant to be. Being lied too wasn't great. Trying to speak to someone was impossible. Wouldn't give a refund or compensation for all the distressed caused. Really disappointed as we had used this company before and will never recommend or use this company again.

very poor service. no telephone service and no one answers their phone line. delivery was done and the lorry driver damaged the wall and the guttering with his lorry while trying to reverse in my alleyway and deliver the goods. will never order from them again. has costed my £700 in repairs to the guttering and waste pipe. have emailed Decorative aggregates and no response so far. extremely poor service and no customer service at all. No response to date from them.

Very unhappy with the service and lack of communication with this company. Delivery was late and no phone call was made to confirm the delivery was an hour away as instructed. I have been trying to reach this company o we the phone for a week and all emails have been ignored. The clients drain was also damaged on delivery with no compensation receive as of yet. Product was good and happy with the quality but Custer service has been appalling.

We instructed the third party courier to call an hour before delivering, and we apologise that they did not do this. The customer service team is working really hard to answer all calls and emails, but at present, we are receiving an unprecedented amount of enquiries so email responses may be taking slightly longer than usual. Your goods left us on time, however the delay was due to the strain placed on the independent courier.
