“So far, I haven’t received my helmet yet, after 2 weeks of ordering. I’ve sent already 2 emails to the customer service of Dashel and they never bothered with responding me with the tracking and shipping information. Now I receive this feedback automated email and without any patience left, here I’m trying to reach out to Dashel saying that I did not receive my helmet. Now how many emails I need to send to have a response for “where is my item” query?”

Dear Edward, so sorry you have had a negative experience with Dashel. Customer satisfaction is really important to us, so sincere apologies for the delay in hearing back from our customer service team. I believe they have now been in touch and it seems there was a failed delivery by Royal Mail back on 24 November and they did not leave a notification card for you - very frustrating! Hopefully, it should be safely re-delivered tomorrow and you can start enjoying your Dashel helmet. Kindest regards

“Excellent exchange service when I bought a M and it should have been S for my 56/22inch head!! S Fits perfectly with no adjustments, there are separate extra adjustments included in the box. The Backpack is a clever idea for slipping on your back when leaving the bike and supervising grand children at the swings!!!”

“Initially, I had ordered a Carbon Fibre helmet in Grey, medium size, according to the sizing method mentioned on the website. I measured around my head and it was 58cm, which put it bang in the middle of the Medium size bracket. I chose the Carbon fibre option for impact strength, should I take a spill from my bike. There is no upper value I can put on my head, so the best it was, at a considerable price but I think my head is worth it! I also ordered the small LED tail-light. The box arrived almost the next day (very impressive) but had been dropped as the corner was crumpled. However, nothing was damaged inside. Sadly the Medium size was too tight. My head is broader than the helmet could accommodate, despite pulling the silver coloured fitting-strips out. I immediately sent it back using the return 'paid-for' label inside the box, explaining why and what I was after as a replacement. The form makes this a box tick exercise, so it is easy and quick. That was on the 23/10/21 and today I called to check if it had arrived OK - you never know... things can go astray. I chatted with someone at head office (there is a pun in there waiting for exit) who took my reference number and quick as a flash I was transferred to Mark in factory land. He verified it had been received and he would ensure a quick return, with Large size. There was even a Plan-B in the pipeline should that not be OK. This is excellent stuff to hear; he is a company who are very much on your side should there be a problem. We left it at that, with Mark saying 'one would be on its way ASAP'. Most reassuring. 30 minutes later the post man dropped a box at the door, marked 'Dashel', in which was a L size helmet that fits exactly to my bonce. I know, I know, it is just circumstance that a correct replacement had been sent out and that Mark was not necessarily in the correct place to see it had been dispatched. I don't care. The fact that Dashel, as a company were completely reassuring, king and helpful - and they make a good product, has lifted my spirits. Well done! Great product - fits well and looks good. Very positive response to my follow-up questions. This review is for then process to swap from M to L, and the excellent L helmet then received.”

“Where do I start? Having ordered a new (electric) bicycle, I decided that my current cycle helmet (25 years old) had outserved it’s usefulness & was the wrong colour - no apology for being a “girl”!! I searched online for a “light blue cycle helmet” to match my new bike & came upon Dashel. We have here a UK based company (no air miles for delivery) which uses recyclable materials with a pledge to take the helmet back to recycle (a good circular economy). Ordering was simple, service was awesome”

“I bought it as I needed a helmet to with a peak to deal with low sun in my eyes,...the magnetic buckle is I would describe as self locking,...just point both ends towards one another and they automatically mate,.....very nice colours to choose from....the helmet comes with alternative interior pads so as the helmet wears in you can fit the larger pads if desired,...steve”
