Ordered on the 11th Feb, received 21st. Took a while to arrive, - over a week in my case before shipping even got confirmed, despite saying on the site "We process and dispatch all orders on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays." Worth the wait but would have been good to know that unless you specifically choose DPD at a higher-rate, expect to be left at the mercy of Royal Mail untracked on top of any delay to actually get goods out. -- Responding to seller feedback: As a brand-new customer with no desire for social media, - and who assumed that an order would just be processed and shipped, nowhere during the ordering process did I see anywhere that listed you were on holiday, and *not* processing orders. You're asking customers to physically check in by email to query - which some won't do, - we'll patiently and politely wait for the order to arrive. So I don't believe the review is unfair. On the order confirmation email, - it states "Royal Mail 1st Class Untracked - (We ship Mon/Wed/Fri)" and there was NO notification of any delay. That's where most people would look. You're expecting people who arrive on your site from Google to do a full inspection of your T&Cs and current status before ordering, - that just doesn't happen. So no, you did not give as much information as possible in the right place, - their order confirmation email, - which is the one place sane people would look, and consequently the feedback in this review about the delivery, not the product, is absolutely warranted.

While the dispatch date you mentioned in your review is accurate, we can't help but feel your negative reviews somewhat unfair given that we were away on holiday and weren't processing orders that week. We not only highlighted our shipping dates for that week in big text in a giant red box at the top of the postage, returns and contact page on the site, it was clearly detailed on the sale page and the email newsletter we sent out (twice) and just to be sure people knew orders would be shipped we even put a notice bar on the checkout summary page saying all orders would be shipped on our return the week commencing 19th Feb as yours was. We put the same messaging out on Instagram if you follow us there and also in an email auto reply if you contacted us to ask where your order was. It's difficult managing dispatches when we're a small business and have to close when we're away and negative reviews do have an impact but on this occasion we do feel we gave as much information about shipping dates to not warrant such feedback. I'm sorry you didn't see any of these messages about shipping, were not sure we could have made it any clearer in the week we were on holiday but if you do order again another time and it's not shipped quickly enough please don't hesitate to contact us and we can always advise on your order status. Hi Christine, I'm sorry for the delay, this is due to the Royal Mail strikes and is something we do warn about when selecting it as the delivery method - it's causing significant delays for businesses like ours and unfortunately impacting on the level of service we are normally able to offer as we dispatch all our orders either same or next day but we're at the mercy of Royal Mail. If you'd got in touch earlier by email to let us know your order hadn't arrived we might have been able to advise on this and potentially organise a replacement. Hopefully it will arrive sooner rather than later :) Best, James.

Very good service via the web site, with fast and easily tracked delivery, but bit disappointed in the knife for the money. It's OK, but overall an average knife.

Knife was in perfect condition. Also packing was very good. I would have liked the option of choosing a better postage method (like dhl express or fedex..ecc).

Ordered knife 2 weeks ago and still haven’t received it. I know that probably this is not the shop’s fault but many other shops offer free express shipping with a certain amount of spending. Cutting-edge should consider matching competition’s service.
