“Beautiful packaging but disappointing coffee. Had the selection pack but all the coffees were bland with little depth. Had to use 2 capsules per cup, even with the supposed intense blend, several capsules didn’t work. Having said this I do like intense coffee so if you like something mild give it a go! Took a long time to come but I put that down to covid delivery delays😢😢😢😢”
“Generally fine but like most non-nespresso pods, you do get the odd pod that doesn't work properly, which is a shame. I had hoped to switch brands but sadly not. So far i've used three packs and at least one pod from each pack was defective. This makes this brand not very cost effective against nespresso. The ones that worked were as good as the nespresso ones though!”

“All the coffee is very good. Have ordered several times from here and it's great to have sustainable coffee pods with competitive prices. Only trouble is they can be a faff to clean out and recycle. The light roast also sometimes produces merely drips and I have had this problem in every batch I've ordered. None of the other pods from CRU Kafe give me this problem, just very frustrating as the light roast is the nicest tasting. Will still buy again but might avoid the light roast.”

Following our previous correspondence, I can now confirm that in the end I had to discard of a total of x8 coffee pods of different varieties due to the issues explained in my original email of 9/5/19 (see below)
I have today placed a new order with CRU: CRU Kafe Order #1000240913
I thought it would be a good idea to get in touch at this point so perhaps you could arrange appropriate refund as you see fit.

Thanks for getting in contact - and sorry to hear about your experience, I appreciate it's just not up to scratch. Depending on what you'd prefer, I'm more than happy to either send replacements or refund those which have been damaged? Realise this might be a bit difficult to tell at this stage so I will keep this refund open for as long as you need.
To be completely honest we've had a couple of issues with DPD over the last couple of weeks, so we are looking for an alternative as I type!

“This coffee tastes great but I think it is misleading to say that the containers are recyclable as they are too small and would fall through the grid at the recycling centre.
I bought them misreading the description and thought they were biodegradable. If they were biodegradable I would definitely buy them again.”
