About Chococo:

We have been crafting fine chocolates in Dorset since 2002 with origin chocolate & local, seasonal ingredients (& no additives, preservatives or added sugar), so they are truly handmade, handpacked & delivered fresh.
We believe truly fresh chocolates taste better & our customers & food experts agree, as we have won over 70 fine food awards over the years for our creations including most recently, 3 World medals at the International Chocolate Awards...enjoy!

“Chocolates were a gift and are very good BUT it is disappointing that the menu lists many different flavours which aren't included in the selection. Instead there are repeats of some of the more standard chocolates which you can get anywhere. As I said they were a gift but they do seem excessively expensive.”

We're so pleased to hear that you enjoyed our chocolates. Our online selection boxes are made up to templates from our main seasonal menu of approximately 40 different chocolates which are all handmade using the freshest local & ethically sourced ingredients on a cyclical basis. By definition, we cannot fit all the flavours in every box, given our largest box contains 25 chocolates. But you can't get our chocolates just anywhere either! Slave-free, palm oil-free, less sugar, directly traded, totally sustainable and utterly equitable, not only is our chocolate officially delicious, it’s choc full of soul too! Hand-crafted, hand-decorated and hand-packed into recyclable packaging, it's worth every penny!

“I used to love Chococo - it was my go to chocolate supplier for Xmas and Easter and even birthdays. However somehow it feels like it has lost its depth of flavour, aroma and general wow factor. It's a shame as I support the brand values etc but there are tastier chocs on the market for a similar price.”

“I ordered an Easter egg as a gift. The recipients were impressed with how pretty it was and said the chocolate was delicious. Fortunately they guessed I had sent the egg as the gift message was not included. On that basis 5/5 for the product itself; it’s just a shame the message was missing.”

Oh no, we're sorry to hear that your Easter egg arrived without a gift message. We can see from your order that there was no message saved to the order; if there had been, it would have shown on your Order Confirmation. For any future orders, you just need to click on the Save button once you've composed your message. Sorry if you didn't notice this.

“My daughter said that the chocolate was so nice and she loved the sea creatures in the design. Unfortunately the egg was damaged in transit but that didn't affect her enjoyment of the taste.”

We're so glad to hear that your daughter loved the chocolate and our design. However, we're so sorry to hear the egg arrived broken. This is really sad and clearly disappointing, and certainly not how we want our lovely chocolate to arrive. All our chocolate gifts are despatched in perfect condition as we take the utmost care in wrapping them, but if any items are unfortunately broken in transit, we would always recommend that you contact us as soon as possible after receipt, or within 2 weeks of a key gifting event (such as Valentine's Day, Easter or Christmas) so we can try to rectify it for you. We're very happy that the chocolate was still a pleasure to eat despite its less-than-perfect appearance, and we hope that you'll come back soon.

“I found this brand when searching for relatively unprocessed Easter chocolate. It was a delight to find this company who offer slave free chocolate with real ingredients. Easter dinosaur eggs were duly bought for my children & their cousins - they went down brilliantly as the most delicious chocolate as well as the most fun with the ammonites & dinosaurs embedded inside. It sounds like the package must have received some prolonged direct sunlight or heat source in transit - it can be just a small shaft of light that affects just one chocolate or a boxful. Fortunately your other items weren't affected, and we're glad to hear that you were very happy with our service.

“Ordered a chocolate Easter Egg and recieved chocolate peices, I contacted the company and they just stated discounted products don't get any sort of refund or replacement also the chocolate tasted abit flavourless not worth the money I spent at all”

As we explained, all our chocolate gifts are despatched in perfect condition as we take the utmost care in wrapping them, however as per our Ts & Cs, we cannot accept any complaints about damages relating to items sold as 'SALE' items. Our Sale items represent excellent value for money for artisan, hand-crafted, ethical chocolate, and the chocolate you had was our 2023 Gold Great Taste award-winning signature 47% Colombia origin milk chocolate, so we're sorry if it wasn't to your taste.
