“As I have had slipper chairs previously I thought I knew what I was getting and although the service was impeccable I found the chairs not as i expected No quibble with the colour, workmanship, or the wood and leather upholstery. So what is my problem? Well my previous chairs were sleeker whereas these are kinda chunky not as comfortable and seem clumsy by comparison. I must say I am rather disappointed but not devastated and will learn to live with them Must add that my previous chairs lasted over 25 years and apart from leather beginning to split still okay Also they were not purchased from Chesterfields Direct”

Hi Mrs. Lockwood Thanks for your comments. It is good to hear that you are happy with our customer service, our workmanship together with the wood finish and leather upholstery on the chair. Unfortunately not every design can be suitable for every customer's needs. We cannot comment on other designs from other manufacturers but this is a very popular product and we have not had any issues regarding this chair. Kind regards Chesterfields Direct

“Really disappointed with company. The website states that furniture will be delivered and placed in room. It was delivered by TNT and driver just left chair on doorstep, and the left. He was rude. When I contacted your company by telephone I was told I should have requested the chair to be put in room, but thre is no facility to do that. That said the chair is beautiful, but TNT are letting you down!”

Thanks for your feedback Mr. Gatherar. In these difficult times we are still striving to offer the best service and apologies for the TNT delivery attitude. “The rating is acceptable rather than more stars because the line of beading along the front of the 3 seater is not straight. I know it is handmade and allow for that, however it is visible and worth mentioning. Aside from that I am very pleased with the colour, comfort and overall look of the 2 pieces I ordered, and would recommend a friend to use Chesterfields Direct.”
