I received my nans urn and inside the metal is all blue and rusty. The lid is very hard to do up due to this.

Urn came for my baby's ashes and I'd be lucky to fit a goldfish in there. I'm Really disappointed and so these just wated a review and werent interested... so I hope you like it hope you like it 😘 I mean the urn was written as adult urn njot a baby. Over priced and undersized.

Really disappointed in the ring it looks cheap you wouldn't think it was 380 pound as my Pandora looks better and I only paid 60 pound for it

I received my ring a week ago only wore it a week and it’s turned black absolutely heartbroken I can’t describe how I feel right now for something so expensive and so valuable and it’s turned out rubbish Stephanie marsden

Very disappointed with this product, at first the quality looked very good, on closer inspection I noticed there was a slight scratch on the top silver part of the urn, then the centre piece on the lid had come off, it's supposed to look like onyx or something similar but it's just a piece of plastic that had been glued on and managed to come off. I glued it back myself only to find that it bubbled up in the middle. I couldn't be bothered sending it back, but has I've said iam not happy at all with this product.

My partner has only worn the ring 1 month and it’s pitted and tarnished. Poor quality metal very disappointing. I have emailed customer services ( 1st April 23) and I haven’t had any acknowledgment or reply as yet!

Recently bought a urn from this company when it arrived all packaging was damp and the material box was covered in mould and it was an horrible smell I would expect better on such an important item please stay away as this is the last thing you need when you have lost a loved one

I paid £465 for a white gold chain with as. The item was delayed multiple times. When recieved it snapped within 8 days. Customer service have confirmed they only pay £35 for the chains and they could refund this or provide another chain that's likely to snap. If I was to loose the pendant it is not something that could ever be replaced. Very disappointed! ☹️

When I placed my order for A ring with my Dads ashes in, your website stated it would be made and delivered within 7 days! The day after I placed my order and paid £495, I received an email to say it would in fact take 8 weeks because I had chosen Gold! Nowhere at all does it state this on your website or in any of your literature! By week 9 my Husband called to find out where my ring was and it seems it had been sat in your offices for 2 weeks with no work done on it! I eventually received my ring and to my horror you had made the wrong one! One of your staff had taken it upon themselves to manually change the product reference to a completely different ring (god only knows why)!! I think your company is a disgrace especially when dealing with something so sensitive as a loved ones ashes!!

Absolutely gutted I used the ring sizer and my ring is way to big other then that it's beautiful for them to do anything I have to pay more money

Dear Emma, Sorry to hear your ring does not fit unfortunately we do have to rely on the sizes our customers give us to make our jewellery. Any modifications to our jewellery must go to our specialist approved jeweller which is why there is a charge for this. Please let us know if you would like to go ahead with the re-sizing of your ring, We hope that you agree although the ring needs a new size it s a lovely crafted piece of jewellery Best wishes Cherished Urns

Customer service excellent. Bracelets were very flimsy and so much smaller than shown on website , so disappointed in quality Paid extra £20 per bracelet for diamond dust which , made no difference to dull finish. Would not recommend the bracelets

I ordered my Urn last week, which was “in stock” paid for it and was told it would be with me in 3-5 working days. Received an email from Cherished Urns 3 days later and told me the Urn I picked is out of stock and they don’t know when / if it’ll be back in stock. This gives me no confidence in buying from them again so I’ll take my custom elsewhere.

Has taken a while to post my review because I had to get over how incredibly awful they were to deal with alongside the grieving of losing 2 much loved family members. After spending hours online searching for the "right" urn we ordered a very specific urn (companion) which on the Cherished Urns website showed as in stock available for next day dispatch but in fact in the end it took 9 weeks to receive it! From initial ordering on their site, all was good, but when I had received no dispatch email after a few days I called them as I thought it was odd. They then let me know that actually it wasn't in stock and was in fact on a container on the sea somewhere, but if I had not have called them I wouldn't have found this out as they clearly weren't going to call me! This non communication from them continued despite me telling them I had ordered this for recently departed Mother and Father in law who were sat on a shelf at the undertakers awaiting the urn for their final resting place. I contacted Shari the Cherished Urns Director and questioned why/how a company selling such sensitive items could be so insensitive, and why are they selling products they don't even have in stock, and especially if you discover you don't have the stock, why aren't you letting customers know? I got an apology-I wouldn't say real empathy or sensitivity - and a partial refund with a promise of the urn arriving in a couple of weeks, but the disgusting insensitive non communication still continued, and the customer care lady Kirsten even removed her name from her email when I was forced to chase it again - So unprofessional. The final insult was to be sent an email after waiting for nearly 9 weeks and losing the will to live - asking me if I would still be happy for them to dispatch to me?! Off another email went to the director who made more excuses and just really not understanding the distress caused by them to us. My experience of this company was truly awful and very upsetting for us a family, they didn't let us know any updates unless I chased them for it, because of their unprofessionalism and insensitivity, they turned what was already an upsetting time for us into a complete unnecessary awful nightmare. I would not recommend or use again and if I could rate them as a minus I definitely would. A company selling such sensitive items should not advertise and sell products as in and available for next day dispatch if they don't have them, and even worse not tell the customer! If anyone from Cherished Urns dares to challenge this honest true review, I swear I'm going to publish the whole thing, all your emails etc on every place I can think of!

An experience that I would not like to repeat, and 1 star is being generous. Over 4 months waiting with no contact from Cherished Urns, I decided to cancel the order and purchase the same item from another company who managed to deliver next day. During this period the company did not feel obliged to call or email me to explain the delays, which caused immense distress to my father. I also have concerns about the marketing statements on the website which are misleading at best, as I now have the same product from a different supplier which clearly states that it is made in India. I am in two minds about contacting trading standards. Originally I placed a back order on a product that was listed as out of stock, but delivery due in 4 weeks. When I spoke to the company they confirmed this but likely to be 4-6 weeks due to the COVID restrictions. On this basis I placed the order. Just over 6 Weeks later, with no delivery or communication from the company, I called to see if it had been dispatched as promised. I was told that they had not received it yet and stated that it could be anther 4 weeks. I made the decision to wait as it was a product that my father had specifically chosen for my mothers ashes. After over another 6 weeks later, again no communication, I called again to chase it up but was told that they still didn't have it in stock. I asked where it was being manufactured and i was expressly told that they are not at liberty to divulge that information to me, which annoyed me even further. I asked to speak to a manager, but was given the same response. I was told that they were getting a shipment in 10 days time and my item should be with that. After 15 days, again no communication, I called to chase up an again told that it was in a shipment they were expecting in 10 days time. At this point I cancelled the order, found the same product with another company and delivery was made the next day.

Hello Guy, I'm sorry to hear that your experience with us was not up to standard. As with a lot of businesses, we had interruptions to many parts of our operations due to the global pandemic, particularly early on. We rely on many different suppliers for the products that we retail and had been advised in good faith that they would be available within the timeframe quoted. In hindsight we shouldn't have taken a back order for the supply of this product to you. I am, however, sorry that we failed to communicate the delays to you properly. Kind regards, Shari
