Bought a lovely Seiko watch from them at their shop at McArthur Glen outlet in Mansfield whilst on holiday in the locality. Nice staff and very helpful. The watch needed to have a a couple links removed from the strap which was done by the staff in the shop. After returning to our holiday accommodation I was wearing the watch and the strap fell apart. I just managed to catch the watch before it fell to the ground. Returned the watch to the shop, ( a significant inconvenience and 30 mile round trip) to be told it would need to go to the workshop or they would give me a full refund. I opted for the watch to be sent to the workshop and then upon its return to be posted out to my home address. This was supposed to take a week. Despite me leaving all my contact detail, nobody contacted me to give any update. The watch showed up today after nearly three weeks. The repair of rejoining the strap has been completely botched. The strap will not fit as another link has obviously been removed….. not what the workshop was told to do. In addition the strap has been fitted the wrong way round so the clasp fitting faces away from you. Not how a Seiko strap clasp should be. I will be taking the watch to be adjusted by professionals in my home town at my own expense, or I might consider returning it. I will never set foot in a Chapelle jewellers again and will be advising all my friends and family of this particular mess. If zero stars could be awarded thats exactly what they would have got. My advice? Shop somewhere else.

Hi got the watch and only lasted a few hours and then the strap come apart. Very disappointed in this!!

Awful service! Have had to chase them several times regarding a faulty watch and will never deal with them again! Hopefully my refund will get sorted a lot quicker than the other issues!

Totally shocking delivery..paid for a 24hr delivery and the item turned up 3 days after being dispatched..when I complained I got told by chapelle that they are in administration and can't do anything..Totally disappointed by them.

Well I paid for a special delivery as it was an important birthday but my order did not arrive till a week later which was so very upsetting when I placed the order I was assured it would arrive on the day I stated so I am still upset about it I trued to phone yous quite a few times but no answer even tho I called at different times so my experience was not good think yous could have made a gesture or anything to that experience

It's now been 11 days since i purchased a watch and still haven't received any confirmation email about it. So i have no clue about what's going on with it.

If there was an option for 0 stars i would definately choose that. This company is the most awful company i have ever used. Brought a watch for my 60th dad's birthday, when it arrived was scratched and damaged as if someone had worn it and sent it back. Ask for an exchange and when that came was also damaged and dial was chipped. Asked the store for a refund and was told to send the watch back and would be sent money. Instead was sent an email to say they had gone into administration and that there was nothing they could do. They have both my money and my watch. Absolute thieves as all they have done is taken my money and my watch. Ruined my dads birthday. I cannot urge people enough not to buy from here.

Very disappointed to note that ordering direct from Chapelle meant paying more for the same item PLUS having to pay postage, compared with the company’s ebay site.

Appalling customer service any sort of a saving u may gain from shopping with this company will be long forgotten by the time u finally get your item and don't think calling will help as they will just lie to u make promises to u they won't keep but never fear these always the manager right wrong whenever I call she is in a meeting so people when looking at there prices remember you get what I pay for and that includes service

Despite the item not being as described, Chapelle refused to refund the postage to return the item. I won't be ordering anything from them again.

First order was a damaged item and had to return at my own expense. Should not have to pay postage on damaged items under any circumstances.

ONE MONTH TO DELIVER I ordered a ring for an 18th birthday gift, arrived almost a month after the event. The ring details/order didn't request size so assumption was made that it was "Free Size". After back and forth emails, it was eventually agreed that you would be able to supply in second choice of size. Assumed delivery would then be made, would now be arriving a few days after the birthday. When spoke with the recipient it was found not to have arrived. Follow up resulted in delivery being made 1 month after the order was placed.

My package was never delivered to me . I have all the evidence and CCTV footage of the alleged date and time of package delivery but none of that matters to Chappelle's Customer service team, sadly they were of no bare minimum help. Secondly, they never replied my mails, they were not ready to listen to my problems let alone help them solve it . In the end I ordered the same watch again just because my mum liked the watch and I didn't want her to be disappointed. I would say if you're looking for a safer and much communicative product company, I would never ever waste my money by ordering my product from Chappelle, and I would never advocate and advise someone to buy from Chappelle. Just pathetic

Hi have had a box delivered by two young boys up the road,Box is empty quiet clear it’s been opened.So paid a good bit of money for a empty box.Good old parcel forces.Not happy
