There should really be a neutral option here because I don't feel as if it was poor but definitely not good. I paid £5 for special delivery but due to Chappelle for some reason not dispatching until at least 24 hours after your order. This meant I missed the day I needed it and didn't receive the item until Tuesday after purchasing on Thursday at 10am. Although this isn't some huge delay and a lot of it is down to Royal Mail. But if you pay £5 delivery for a £30 piece of jewellery i'd expect it to at least get their next day.

Thank you for your feedback and I am sorry to hear that you are disappointed with your experience of shopping online with Chapelle. We do offer Special Delivery as an option which means the item will be delivered the next working day after despatch. Unfortunately due to a combination of security procedures and order volume we are unable to despatch orders the same working day that they are received. We do offer information relating to delivery of all our items on our website and this can be found here > http://chapelle.co.uk/delivery. Your order was received on Thursday and was despatched on Friday so Royal Mail Special Delivery should have meant it was delivered on the Monday. I have always liked shopping in the Chapelle shop in Bridgend. I have always been genuinely delighted with every purchase that I have purchased!

I am sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your purchase and your experience of shopping online. We try hard to ensure that the images of our items are large enough to show the detail in the product but are not overly enhanced. Many other jewellers touch up their images but we try to ensure the item looks as it will when you receive it. We are currently updating our website to show the dimensions of each item and I am sorry that the dimensions were not included on the earrings you selected. We have thousands of active items so it is a long process to manually measure each one and add this information to the listing. If you would like to return the earrings for a refund or exchange then please do; we do not want to disappoint our customers and I am sorry that you are unhappy with your experience of shopping online. Mr McNair We aim to check watches are working before sending them out to customers so I'm sorry to hear that this Guess watch wasn't working. Please return the watch to us at PO Box 7549, Colwick, Nottingham NG4 2YG and we will replace the battery the same day we receive it and send it straight back out to you. We will of course refund your return postage costs. I do apologise for the disappointment this caused and would like to assure you that we will replace the battery and return the watch to you using Royal Mail Special Delivery so it is back with you as soon as possible. The rating is purely due to the delivery timescales -I'm still waiting for the item ordered. The item shipped was temporary until I was able to confirm the correct size on the 23rd Oct. It is now 26th Nov and 5 weeks on, exceeding the quoted timescales, much to my fiance's frustration.
