“Not happy! I am a regular customer of C&C (seven items purchased) so I was very disappointed not to be able to purchase extra darning wool. A tiny length is supplied but not enough to darn holes left by some hungry moths. I was told that all wool is sent to C&C repair service - I’m an expert darner so do not want to pay £40 for someone else to repair my sweater. For the high cost of the knitwear I would have thought a little extra wool is not too much to ask.”

Good Evening Jill, I am so sorry that you have been left disappointed by our after service as we always try to do everything we can to help. On this occasion the yarn you were looking for was stocked by us, quite a few years ago and we just didn't have any more available, so we suggested that our repair service might be able to match up very well, as they have any spare yarn and more besides, and can normally produce a very good invisible repair. I am sorry if you believed that we didn't want to help, but this is not the case. We do supply spare yarn with all our cashmere jumpers for this very purpose, but apologise that we just didn't have any more in house. The cashmere repair service is not a profit making part of our business but we do it as a service to our customers which repairs and returns damaged sweaters like new. So sorry for any inconvenience caused.

“Speedy service and quality clothing. I loved the jumper I sent for however the colour was not as expected so I returned the item. I received a speedy refund and notification of the same. Prices are a little on the steep side however I am not a regular shopper so would only shop again if there was an item I couldnt resist based purely on pricing.”

“beautiful cardigan, but very very oversized so had to return unfortunately, they don't send a label for postage when in the sale so paid for delivery and return. called at the weekend twice didn't get the as-promised call back - so called again on Monday. Disappointing”

“The Abigail duck egg sweater is absolutely perfect and will have a happy home alongside the grey and navy ones in my wardrobe. They have washed perfectly and look as good as the day I bought them. A very happy customer. Cashmere and Cotton are my go to for cashmere ; I love the colours and styles.”

“I have collected several Cashmere and Cotton jumpers over the years and the oldest one still looks like new. The quality is superb, the designs stylish and just the right side of quirky. Buy once, wear forever. So true. My only problem is that some of the styles are too big or voluminous for my 5ft 2in frame.”
