The car mat doesnt fit correctly, the buttons for clipping to floor are not positioned correctly and the mat doesnt sit flush with the floor. There is also no buttons on the passenger side. However, mats seem good quality and very speedy delivery.. hopefully mine is just a one off issue??

Poor fit. The mat doesn't fit the car boot. It is smaller than expected.

Got the rubber mats and boot liner, the smell is quite strong even after some days. The boot mat doesnt really match the GLB

This will dissipate as you use them. If you are looking for something which is odourless, we do have EVA Car Mats which don't carry any odour? The quality of the premium rubber car mats for our Mercedes GLC are disappointing, they are a bit on the flimsy side and very minimal just about covering enough of the carpet to give it some protection from the winter mud and debris. I would not purchase these again as they don't do the job they were intended for and not good value for money. I did use the online configurator with my number plate and according to Carmats4u they are the correct size. !!

In regards to the thickness, we offer within the Premium range, thicknesses up to 6mm which is thicker than any competitor. Bought a rubber boot liner from this company for my Nissan Leaf. The ordering process was staighforward and the delivery was quick. The item appers to be very well made and of good quality but has a very strong chemical smell. And by ''strong'' I mean it really stinks. You can smell it from 10 meters away. So much so, that I can't put it in a car. Keeping it the garage at the moment and the whole garage now smells(which caused some complainig from my wife). Hope after some time the smell diminishes and I will use it in the future.

However, if the natural Rubber odour is overpowering, this could be a manufacturing defect. I ordered a set of Car Mats from Carmats4U and after just a couple of weeks, the heel area is already showing as worn. Although the mats have a heel protection area, due to being someone with size 12 shoes, my heels do not rest on the protector but below, making the protector useless. I have contacted Carmats4U asking whether they could manufacture another driver's side mat with the heel protector in a place that actually works and if they can agree to do this, I will certainly update my review. In the meantime, if your feet are on the larger side I wouldn't recommend these mats.

Hi Will! Thank you for making us aware of this. Our Heel Pads are super thick so providing your foot is able to rest on this area, there shouldn't be any signs of wear. However, we understand your concern with having bigger feet so we can certainly create a custom car mat with the Heel Pad repositioned for yourself. If you have contacted customer service, provide them with my name and they will provide a free replacement as discussed. We provide excellent customer service before and after you purchase so rest assured, this will be resolved at no cost. Our Heel Pads are situated close to the pedals to provide the ultimate protection. In this case, we just need to be a little further down the mat. The mats look better in the photos than they do in real life. Disappointing quality, after paying £40 for them, I'd be safer with buying cheap mats and replacing them often. I fear these won't stand the test of time. The mats don't find as snugly as advertised and are not a perfect fit. Also wasn't aware of a big 'car mats for u' synthetic label which you can't remove without damaging the mat. All in all not happy and would avoid in the future.

Hi Paul, We're really sorry to hear you're not satisfied with your item. Looking at your order details, I can see that your order was £40 including shipping. The shipping charges would have inflated the price due to you not being inside the UK Mainland. In regards to the thickness, you've ordered our 2200g which is our second thickest carpet. We actually have carpets that are 4 times thicker than our standard and for very reasonable and competitive prices. We would be more than happy to offer you an exchange for something much thicker if you're interested? Providing the item is in new condition then we can definitely move forward with this. Any issues, in particular with fitment can always be resolved quickly. It could be that you've ordered for an older or newer generation that what you actually need. Finally, our mats do have a small tag attached to them as do any 'branded' products, this can be removed if you prefer the mats without. Delivery was quick, but quite disappointed with the quality of the mats, they fit my car well but the mats have been cut from material running in different directions so they don't all look the same and the front passenger side matt doesn't look right.

If you want a cheap flimsy boot liner at a cheap price then these might suit you. I was disappointed with the boot liner when it arrived and returned it within the timescales required by the distance selling regulations and despite several email exchanges I still haven't received a refund yet. The proper VW boot liner was much better and well worth the price difference.

Hi Rob! I'm sorry you weren't happy with our PVC Boot Liner. Our customers usually leave 5 star feedback due to the low prices and high quality of these items. In particular, the 100% tailored fit is usually a winner for us. We understand that sometimes, we can't cater for everyone's expectations. Might I suggest, if you order with us again, perhaps to choose the 100% Rubber solution instead? The Rubber alternative doesn't have the high 2 inch lip but it's thicker and much heavier. Also, in regards to the refund. This was processed the same day as your return arrived. Please check your bank as we can see a successful refund was actioned and received. The carpet Mats are a good quality. However the rubber boot mat is of poor quality, more plastic than rubber with sharp edges that could cut your carpet. Also the boot Mat doesn’t fit properly. Disappointed

Listing explicitly says "no nasty smells" for rubber mats, yet nose says "phew stinky" and after two weeks I still can't bear to have in the car.

The boot liner sort of fitted. Did I bother letting the company know? No, because the thing took a lot longer to arrive which meant we need to use it straight away. Would I recommend only if you're not too fussy about the quality of said item.

Hi! Our Rubber based products do have a natural Rubber odour for the weeks couple of weeks of use. This will naturally die down once the item has been used. The mats are nice overall trim colour etc but I’ve had mine just over a week now and they’re all ready starting to wear out under my pedals. I didn’t get the heel protects as I like a clean look but I thought they would have been hard wearing to last long enough not after a week to look worn out.

The mats look nice, but are are too light (not thick enough) to stay in place and keep moving all the time, leaving their position and even getting tangled in the pedals. They also do not cover the entire floor surface.

Mats in the front were ok, good in fact but the rear ones were a little wide at the top so I had to lop a bit off both. Decent quality rubber but they stink!!! My car stinks of a burnt rubbery smell which I can tell you isn't pleasent. Overall decent mats, Bad smell, I wouldn't recommend unless you've a convertible.

Rubber Car Mats. Quality not so good. In one month the trim edges goes up and float above floor like wings Dirt and sand goes very easy under mats.

Lovely quality mats, but delivery time was not transparent and communication poor. There was no mention on purchase of templates to be sent prior to manufacturing the mats, and when the templates arrived, they were without any instruction, and I had to contact the company to find out what they were and what to do with them. All in all, it was a fortnight before receiving the mats, which is at great variance with the delivery time quoted.
