“2nd time ive used car key solutions, really helpful and fixed my electrical key problems to my Nissan. The lady on reception very polite with clear instructions, thanks to George mechanic. Very reasonable cost as well. Definitely recommend them. Being a pensioner I found the very honest and trustworthy.”

“My 2008 Saab's key fob had been damaged at its last service and needed repairing. Car Key Solutions promptly contacted me, asked for photos of the circuit board before agreeing it could be repaired. It was collected on Wednesday and returned in Saturday's post, repaired and immaculate. I was so impressed that I have placed an order for its twin to receive similar treatment. Excellent service and recommended!”

“They quoted one price on the phone after I had given them photo evidence of what I needed and then they doubled the price when they arrived at the car location. I could have got the same service and faster from other companies had they told me the correct price at the time of booking but in order to book I had to pay a non refundable deposit so once they had arrived I had no choice but to pay the significantly higher new price.”

Hi Harriet, We're sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with your experience. During the initial phone call, you advised us that the key you had was a dash key and confirmed that you were able to start the vehicle using the blade. You also sent us a photo of the key, and after several confirmations, you continued to advise that it was a dash key. When our engineer arrived, it became clear that the vehicle actually required a keyless remote, not a dash key. As a result, the service required was different from what had been booked. The standard price for supplying and programming a keyless key is £450. However, as a gesture of goodwill, we reduced the price to £380. Our quotes are based on the information provided at the time of booking. If the actual vehicle or key type differs from what was described, the required service and pricing may also change. We always explain any price adjustment before proceeding with the work and only continue once the customer agrees. “Fantastic service from the booking, online payment and installation. Had my Ghost fitted at Watford on my Lexus NX, professional staff with an excellent tutorial once it was installed. Simple process to change the pin and explained thoroughly. I also opted for the additional alarm upgrade, this too was demonstrated and provides extra peace of mind. Had to call support due to an issue with my starter battery draining, they were superb and arrived at the Lexus dealership and sorted the issue, quality service.”

“I had a locks fitted to my Ford Connect van 6 months ago and then 5 weeks ago the back door lock cylinder failed and I couldn't get into the back door , phone car keys solutions up and told them I had oiled the cylinder with WD40 and tried everything to try and get it working again they said they would send someone out he turned up and agreed with me that the cylinder had failed and said they would order another one and someone would contact me to arrange a second visit I did explain to him that I needed the use of my door for work . After 2 week i had not heard from them so call and was told that the company they get the locks and barrels from had move location and they were having trouble getting the parts after another 2 weeks with no info from them I call again only to be told they had received the wrong cylinder from the suppliers and they are waiting for it to be sent again . Bearing in mind I have had no access to the back of my van for my work for the last 6 weeks now I asked if they could replace both barrels so I only have one key and they said no . They just keep coming up with excuse after excuse and fobbing me off . IF YOU ARE THINKING OF USING THIS COMPANY DON'T”

When the issue was reported, we attended promptly and confirmed that the lock cylinder had failed. A replacement was then ordered immediately. Unfortunately, the delays that followed were due to unforeseen supply chain issues, including our supplier relocating and subsequently sending an incorrect part. These circumstances were outside of our control, but we fully appreciate that this does not lessen the impact on you. Throughout the process, we have continued to chase the supplier and keep the repair moving forward.
