“We participated in breakaway training - de-escalation techniques and holds. The trainer was very engaging, encouraging discussion, physical demonstrations and practical elements. The training has already proved useful in supporting staff to be aware of de-escalation strategies, and encouraging them to explore, where possible, the reasons for the displayed behaviours.”
