It was very insightful really. And honest, it is good to have a realistic idea that it happens sometimes that cpr cant fix everything and that we should also self preserve

I found the training very helpful, easy to follow and understand even if English is not my first language. Made me really feel confident to help people when it’s needed.

Caring for care were friendly and efficient, the representative who conducted our training was pleasant and friendly and informative and I have it on good account that all the staff found it useful. I am using them again for further training courses.

Our staff did the Emergency First Aid at Work training. The instructor came to our premises and instructed a group of 10 staff members. The staff agreed that the course was excellent, with the course content relevant and informative. The instructor (Ian) was extremely good with a very friendly and engaging manner. The course was fun as well as educational and staff said they thoroughly enjoyed it. Would certainly recommend to others.

Very poor training. Attendees were shown demonstrations of poor practice as an example of what not to do. Carer was brought up in front of the group to carry out an incorrect manoeuvre as an example of things that can be done wrong. The trainer also demonstrated an underarm lift on one of the group pulling him up to stand. When shown slide sheets he allowed 2 staff to 'go ahead' and try to move an individual up the bed and he would then show them the right way. I had to stop them as they were at risk of injury as they had not been shown properly. He did not allow each individual to take a turn with each manoeuvre. He did not allow the attendees to act as the carer putting them acting as the resident which would not reinforce learning. As the trainer he should act as the resident and instruct them accordingly. He did not know how to use the ReTurn and advised that it can be moved without attaching a belt. He did not act consent to touch the back of the female. Extremely poor and dangerous practice taught from start to finish.

I would like to thank the trainer for providing such an excellent manual handling training session. The training was very informative, well organised, and delivered in a clear and professional way. The trainer explained each technique patiently and made sure everyone understood the importance of safe moving and handling practices in a care home environment. The practical demonstrations were very helpful and increased my confidence in supporting residents safely. The trainer was friendly, approachable, and answered all questions clearly. I really enjoyed the session and gained valuable knowledge that I can use in my daily work. Thank you for the great training and support.
