“The printing and binding were first rate. The contents are voluminous and an index would greatly improve the manual’s usefulness. That’s not likely to happen since it was written by Panasonic sometime in the distant past. Otherwise, it does do a good job of explaining the camera’s functions and adjustments.”

“I have selected and ordered the offered spiral binding. Unfortunately, the bining was positioned on the unusual side, i.e. the booklet pages cannot be turned book-like (right to left) but calendar-like (from up to down). This has not been stated or asked before, and the picture shown on the ordering page was the book-like position.”

Hello Unfortunately the PDF for the manual is formatted by Pentax and we can not alter it in any way. They have formatted this to be read like you say from top to bottom. If we had bound the manual on the right side then all even pages would be upside down.
