“Brilliant service from start to finish! The price was great, communication was spot on, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful — including the friendly delivery driver who went above and beyond. In the past, we’ve had deliveries from other suppliers tipped out on the driveway, meaning we had to lug everything round to the back ourselves. Being able to have the full pallet delivered where we needed it was an absolute game changer! We’ll definitely be ordering again.”

“I have absolutely no complaint about the products supplied, which as usual were of excellent quality. However, there was an issue with the courier who spectacularly failed to meet their delivery contract. They claimed that, on the scheduled delivery date and within the specified time slot, nobody was available to accept the items (which needed signing for). However, the fact was that we had been at home all day and they themselves provided the most damning evidence by showing on their Pinpoint delivery website a photograph of a Road Closed sign (instead of the property at which they claimed an attempted delivery) and a Googlemap image pinpointing the address which was in a village a few miles from here. I contacted the courier company within a few minutes of receiving notification of the failed delivery, pointed out that their driver had been in the wrong village and demanded they contact the driver and direct him to the correct address. I received no reply from the courier company but I had also approached Calido who themselves contacted the courier company in an attempt to persuade them to re-direct the driver but the courier company claimed that the driver had already gone off duty - even though it was mid afternoon - and no delivery would be possible until the following Monday. Calido were at all times extremely helpful and remained in contact with me until a successful delivery had been achieved the following week, but I have urged them to consider carefully their choice of courier company because, in this case, it had not fulfilled its delivery contract. This one experience will not prevent me ordering again from Calido in the future as previous deliveries have had no problem, but I sincerely hope for a better delivery experience on the next occasion.”

“Our Piquia Outdoor Heater fire was easy to order online with timely delivery updates provided. When product arrived we were really impressed with the build quality. Upon first use it really banged out some heat without sparks flying around and getting smoke on your eyes (as encountered with previous fire). At maximum temperature the fires heat didn’t transfer down to the supporting legs which was good for our composite decking. For ease of 45kg fire movement we fitted some heavy duty locking castor wheels.”
