I ordered some polycarbonate to be delivered and pressed the button to pay but I forgot the end cap. I rang and it was no trouble to add to the same delivery and it arrived exactly as they said on thephone. I will being using C&A again and recommending then to my building contacts. Prompt delivery, well packaged. Because rafter wider than eaves retainer top of retainer is too deep (needs to be 12mm), will have to rebate eaves retainer to suit

excellent company with good customer relations. Could not have been more helpful when emailed about a question about a product. Very fast delivery once ordered and low cost postage. Now able to replace roof and use new flashing.

I found C&A a very good company to deal with. Excellent product range and communication. The shower panels I ordered arrived within a few days with emails and text messages to inform me of progress. The delivery driver was very friendly and helpful. What more can you ask for!

When I called to order your staff are knowledgable without being pushy. They take time to check what you order matches each other. Your delivery system by notifying custermers Ismail very efficient and your delivery drivers are so plite and helpful a rare commodity these days

I used the web to make my order and found the website had some really useful information including giving the size of the roof I wanted and all the component parts required for the job came up on a list. Saved me a lot of time ordering was easy and delivery was good with a call prior to the delivery with a time slot. Job now finished and wife is happy what more can a man want.

The service you get from C&A Building Plastics depends entirely on whom you deal with so it is not possible to separate the rating from an individual. Dealing with T is a miserable experience, customers are just a nuisance and you'll receive the product at his convenience - allow a minimum of 10 days, despite the claims of the company. As an example, I said I was not able to receive the roofing items between the 10th and 25th of the month. T transposed this to the 25th to the 10th (of the following month!), thereby losing me the last two weeks of the year of excellent roofing weather. He was not in the slightest concerned. Dealing with C is a pleasure. He is customer focussed and ready to do all he can to help. M is straightforward and seems efficient. The delivery driver was excellent, doing all he could (and working long hours) to make up for the inefficiencies at the depot. The range of products supplied by the company is wide and the prices seem good. Just choose your contact and be assertive about your required delivery date.

Hi Thank You for your feedback and sorry that you are not happy with the delivery process. Hopefully my explanation will give you a better understanding of why your delivery was not made on the 25th. You placed the order online and noticed you did not put anything in the delivery notes about delivery dates although there are notes regarding access. I can see that notes have been added on the 07/10/16 requesting delivery after the 25th October and this is probably why there was a delay. Your order was sent on one of our lorries, these leave on a Monday and return on a Friday. You are in the GU postcode area and the week the vehicle went through that area was the 24th and your delivery would have been one of the first drops. The notes say after the 25th so we would not have been able to make the delivery. What did happen was your order got rescheduled for the following weeks run and it was delivered at the end of that week. We have up to 40 deliveries to do on each lorry and every run is optimised to try and ensure that all the orders get delivered and the drivers have enough time to return to base. Please note the drivers can only drive 9 hours per day this is the law and we never encourage our drivers to break this. As for the drivers working long hours this sometimes happens due to failed deliveries, breakdowns or just traffic problems however every run is planned to ensure the driver gets back on a Friday and once they have returned to the depot and completed their paperwork they are free to go home. This early finish offsets the extra hour or two that they do during the week. If a driver is delayed for any reason beyond their control they do certainly do not lose out. We can arrange special deliveries if customers need their materials by a certain date at additional costs however the cost of standard delivery does not allow for these special delivery options. I hope this helps explain why your order was not delivered on the 25th or just after and I will be having a discussion with all the sales staff and hope to avoid these type of problems in the future If you wish to discuss this further then please call either myself or Craig Darren

As a DIYer I wasn t 100% sure on my exact material requirements for the job I was taking on, I therefore made a phone call as I couldn't order on line because of my lack of knowledge, on doing so I couldn't have had any more help than I received, & the order was received within 3 to 4 working days & the delivery driver was very efficient.

I had used CABP a few times before and had always been happy with the service but not on this occasion. The delivery time I was given was 5 to 10 working days and I would be contacted nearer the delivery day. After 10 days of hearing nothing I contacted Customer Services. The operator was quite rude and fobbed me off with some excuse about 2 delivery drivers being off sick. I said this was no excuse and I should have at least been contacted about the delay. He reply was to call his boss a wa##er which was very unprofessional. After about 15 days I received an email saying my delivery had been dispatched and would be with me within 5 days. Surely dispatched means it's on the lorry and on its way. 3 days later the driver texted to say it would be with me the next day. On the day of delivery I received a phone call from the driver complaining about how busy the road was and how he couldn't stop there. I told him that the address had recently had loads of work done and many drivers had parked up and delivered goods to that property without problems. My customer said he eventually parked up and ranted and raved as he helped him unload. All in all an extremely unprofessional service on this occasion.

Hi Thank you for the review, we are sorry that you feel you have had a bad experience on this order. I have looked into this and can see you have bought from us several times before, and clearly you feel we have not lived up to those past positive experiences. Looking into this order there do not appear to be notes attached with regards to the conversation you had with the operate you say was rude, this is highly unusual and the further accusation we take very seriously as the behaviour you describe is clearly not professional, and we do not condone this type of behaviour. If you recall the name of the operator we would appreciate being informed so that we can ensure this type of incident does not happen. I have looked up the driver you mention and we will be having an interview with him on his return from this week’s deliveries. The behaviour your customer describes sounds very uncharacteristic of this driver, who has been with us for over 20 years and we constantly receive praise from customers on him specifically, but we always want the best service from our customers and will investigate further. Rest assured we constantly look to improve, balancing service with value, and as with all businesses there are occasional hiccups that occur but we try to resolve these quickly and efficiently so that normal service is resumed, this we feel is reflected in the highly positive reviews that are left.
