“Well I’m still waiting on half the payment back that I sent my returns to exchange for another size Cost me £12 to send them back to you Wasn’t happy Could have gone to another site that offered free returns”

Craig, I'm disappointed you weren't happy with our service. We do everything we can to ensure our customers get the right size for the first time. We've invested a huge amount of time into creating accurate size guides with full measurements where possible. We're unable to offer free returns, to allow us to keep our prices competitive, & invest so much time into some of the most accurate sizing information in the industry. As a goodwill gesture we agreed to refund £6 of your carriage, and send out your replacements on the fastest service we could, at further cost to us. “Despatched on the day of order, delivered the next. An item was missing from the box and after calling through about the item, it was despatched the next working day…. Please note the item missing was not a fault of Buxtons but the manufacturer.”

“I looked at Buxtons online site when purchasing a Stihl lawnmower. It showed only one in stock & I needed to make sure it was physically available, rather than ordered in from Stihl directly. Mark answered the phone, literally on 5pm & he could not confirm it was in the warehouse as the manager had already gone home. He said he would ring me back at 8am to confirm & he did exactly that. The mower was there & I ordered it online there & then. 8am Friday, delivered 13.00 Monday at no delivery cost. Great customer service & a great delivery service as well. Take note companies taking your money & making you wait weeks. I have already recommended Buxtons to colleagues & will do so again.”

“Always been ordering with Buxtons and Honey Brothers depending on stock. Buxtons is my go to! Always everything on time, great at delivery’s. Never been disappointed. At some point only wish they would offer more stock and brands as HB does and splice service. Other than that spot on!”

“Although on this occasion the items I ordered weren’t right for me and I had to send them back I still have to give Buxton a 5* review as the communication with Kelly regarding my returns and refund were excellent and the items arrived promptly and well packaged. “Hello! I run a small-scale forestry business in South Korea, and I am also a freelancer, personally doing logging tasks such as removing hazardous trees. When I found your shopping mall site in the UK while searching the Internet for forestry-related items that are hard to find in my country, I wanted to shout Eureka. However, in South Korea, when buying more than 150 USD at a time overseas, I have to pay about 20% duty and VAT, because of the huge price burden, I had no choice but to shop with my eyes for the time being. Over the past few sale events, I have purchased items that I must have even if I carry a great burden, and unfortunately, some items I missed as the sale period has passed are still very often coming out of my dreams. It would be great if your company would allow consumers to purchase good items at reasonable prices. On the other hand, I wish there was a VAT exemption program for those who want to buy directly from overseas. The VAT in the UK is 20%, which is sometimes too burdensome.
