“Bin is fine, lid was bent out of shape on arrival and doesn't fully close. We're having a bin emergency and rodent problem so no time to organise a return, and we dont have anywhere to store a spare bin while waiting for courier collection. Bit of a pain. Bin works fine though.”

“I purchased a blue 12ltr bin for my mum. She liked it instantly and has got rid of the silver old fashioned bin with the lid. I gave four stars as when the bin arrived the tyre tread was slightly worn. but then im just being picky. a good price for a good quality wheelie bin. We chose blue and it stands out very nicely.”

“My new kitchen has fitted bins which are a lot smaller than my old brabantia so I needed a small wheely bin to put these rubbish bags in. Thus one was the perfect size for my small outside space. I went for the black as it was on offer other wise I would have chosen a brighter colour”

“200 litre standard grit bin bought to store rock dust outside. Lid doesn't prevent rainwater from entering the bin as the hinge arrangement is very crude allowing water to seep in. Channels are provided to direct water away but they are inadequate. Also when you lift the lid any water on the lid is tipped down the rear edge of the lid and into the bin. Why doesn't the lid cover the top and maybe 30mm down the sides and why is the hinge system so basic? I stored the rockdust in 2 dustbins which i already for another purpose. I can make use of the bin to hold compost inside a polytunnel but the bin is not fit for outside use in wet weather.”

“The 140l red wheelie bin is very sturdy and takes a 70Kg load. It has very robust wheels and a galvanised rustproof axle. It is nice to see a British made item that stands up to my rough treatment being used regularly to move gardening waste. The delivery was quick and the driver left it in accordance with my instructions. Overall, I am very impressed with the quality and service provided by BritishBins.”
