“I must have produced around 20 Bob Books over the last 5 years. Without exception, the quality of the finished item has been excellent. As well as many high quality images, I tend to have quite a lot of text in most books, usually cut and pasted from Microsoft Word documents. I find that the Bob Books software is not quite as versatile as a conventional word-processing package: for example, text wrap is not available (or if it is I haven't found it) and some of the font settings seem to need care to ensure consistency throughout the book. Overall though, very happy!”

“My album came out so lovely. I didn't realise there was one size up though and would have chosen that size instead bit I will definitely be recording my future memories with bobs books. I also wish there was an app for android and not just iPhone”

“I have to say... the end result was second to none. The journey to that result wasn't so great. I chose not to download the Bob Books Designer software and went with a freeform layout in InDesign, outputting high-res PDFs, importing those into P.Shop and outputting full page JPEGs for eventual upload to BBs. That was easy enough, if not a little time consuming. Uploading the images was simple enough, though I found it best to upload and place one at a time to be assured of getting the right JPEG on the right page. The cover was the trickiest, as I had to consider the spine (I chose a 300mm square hardback book) but I got there eventually. All done, I hit the order button. It's really from there that things could be much improved. There's no indication as to when the finished product will arrive - a delivery estimate would, at the very least, be nice. Anyhoo... Eventually the book arrived and as I mentioned at the beginning - the finished quality was second to none. It was a book of memories from a 50th wedding anniversary and the end client was blown away on receipt. If Bob can just improve on communication once ordered, then I'd be upping my 4 stars to 5.”

“I ordered a large landscape photo book for our wedding pictures. The quality is stunning! The pictures which spread across 2 pages look wonderful. Thank you for making such a wonderful job of this. My only slight problem is I needed a box for this and unless I downloaded the software, then this option is not available. Neither is the duplication of the virtual book online without the software.”

“The finished book was excellent - it looked professionally made, which exceeded my expectations. I did, however, find the website really hard to use. I downloaded all my photos in chronological order, but they all got mixed up in the download so I had to keep referring to the original folder and then scan through all 50-odd photos to find each one. I also found the formatting process quite time-consuming and not very user-friendly. That's partly why I was so surprised at how well it turned out!”

“I had a problem with my book when it arrived, called up the customer service line to discuss. Spoke to Tom who was really helpful and informative. Sent a voucher out to rectify the new book. All sorted. Would definitely recommend. Decent price and excellent customer service”

“Good quality cove and pages and was a lovely surprise to present to my father - a "proper book" of his memoirs and pictures of his life. Even though none of the pictures was of the required quality for print, they all came out really well for the purpose, and were much clearer than expected.”

“I still haven't received the books I ordered on 26 of October. Do you maybe have a tracking code for the shipment? EDIT: the books have arrived on Friday :) It took 21 days to arrive. The books are super nice and perfect quality.”

Hi Maja, I am sorry to hear that you haven't yet received your order. I can see that your order was placed on the 26th, and shipped out on the 30th. The production and delivery time as stated for your product is 10-12 working days for UK delivery. As it has now been 11 working days and you live outside the UK, you should expect your package around the end of next week. “Overall excellent quality, but possible problem with online software. After adding additional pages, the width of the spine did not increase to allow for a thicker book, resulting in the cover picture showing on the spine too much. This problem did not show when composing the book, only after it had been ordered.”

“Would like to be able to adjust the pictures more. I didn’t realise the ones with ! wouldn’t be printed as I had adjusted them but would go back i.e. heads cut off as it didn’t fit in the space.”

“I ordered two large, lustre photographic books and was thrilled with the print quality and the online chat which, as always, was helpful and instant. There was a problem with some 'waviness' on the pages which I spoke to someone about and sent a photo and this was immediately resolved. I always find your company's customer service excellent and will continue to use BOB BOOKS as I love the finished product.”
