“Excellent end product (three times now) and so obviously happy with the service. The software can take some time to get used to and is not always the quickest but that has not stopped me being a repeat customer as the final product is consistently good.”

“I have used BobBooks for several years, producing calendars for my Australian and uk families each year and annual books for each of my grandchildren. My special holidays have been put into photo books, such a wonderful record and way of displaying our great photos. I like being able to place, change size and backgrounds, add clip art and add a page of text. Good quality paper and I love receiving them.”

“I have used Bobs Books for several years. The books are always arrive promptly and made to a very high standard, The ability to include video clips is a great idea. On the one occasion that there was a problem it was quickly sorted and a replacement book was dispatched immediately. I would recommend them to all.”

“Easy to use, good reproduction of the photographs and very fast turnaround. This is about the 4th or 5th year I have used them to produce a calendar (I also use their photo books) and I will be using them again, next year”

“Started on iPad. Changed to downloading software on advice of v helpful chap on phone helpline. Straightforward after that - simple clear layout. Never got the hang of text - it always appeared too small. But that was my only niggle (& same with other apps). Beautiful book which arrived just in time for 21st birthday celebrations - to the delight of 3 generations. Wd thoroughly recommend.”

“Bob Books are more expensive than other companies I have used but I think the it's money well spent as the quality and flexibility of options is better. I especially like the lay-flat format of the photobooks. I would rather you used Royal Mail for deliveries as I find DPD unhelpful and difficult to deal with when I miss a delivery.”

“I found the customer service very good, and when I had worries about the books not being delivered as we live in an off beat location, they were very quick to reply and put my mind to rest. The quality of the books was very good and I was very pleased with what Bob books did for me. My only slightly negative comment is that I found the process slightly complicated, but then I’m a bit of a computer numpty. My son helped me in the end.”

“As a complete beginner it took a while to work out how to upload photos and design pages. I would advise people new to photobooks to do their planning first and divide photos up into small 'bite sized' files and upload each individually - one file for 2/3 pages, as once you have designed a few pages it is difficult to add in pages afterwards.. It is vital to Save your work as you go along, and to make sure the website is registering this - if it doesn't, it hasn't saved. I lost a lot of work and time because of this. An up to date computer is essential too - I started this book on an old computer and it was almost impossible to design pages and save, the capacity wasn't enough. The new computer is great - much faster editing, obvious saving etc. I used the Layout options a lot, but it is frustrating when the picture shapes are changed and cropped - it took a while to get the layout the way I wanted it. The book is great, very good quality and the online preview is very true to the actual thing. Text boxes work nicely. My next book will be much easier, and I look forward to having a go with the special effects etc.”
