“Easy to use, good reproduction of the photographs and very fast turnaround. This is about the 4th or 5th year I have used them to produce a calendar (I also use their photo books) and I will be using them again, next year”

“Just received our 5th Bob's Book. We enjoy creating our own page layouts and adding text to instantly bring back holiday memories. Speed of turn-round from placing the order to delivery at the door is amazing. Good quality printing from our own photos.”

“Started on iPad. Changed to downloading software on advice of v helpful chap on phone helpline. Straightforward after that - simple clear layout. Never got the hang of text - it always appeared too small. But that was my only niggle (& same with other apps). Beautiful book which arrived just in time for 21st birthday celebrations - to the delight of 3 generations. Wd thoroughly recommend.”

“Bob Books are more expensive than other companies I have used but I think the it's money well spent as the quality and flexibility of options is better. I especially like the lay-flat format of the photobooks. I would rather you used Royal Mail for deliveries as I find DPD unhelpful and difficult to deal with when I miss a delivery.”

“I found the customer service very good, and when I had worries about the books not being delivered as we live in an off beat location, they were very quick to reply and put my mind to rest. The quality of the books was very good and I was very pleased with what Bob books did for me. My only slightly negative comment is that I found the process slightly complicated, but then I’m a bit of a computer numpty. My son helped me in the end.”

“As a complete beginner it took a while to work out how to upload photos and design pages. I would advise people new to photobooks to do their planning first and divide photos up into small 'bite sized' files and upload each individually - one file for 2/3 pages, as once you have designed a few pages it is difficult to add in pages afterwards.. It is vital to Save your work as you go along, and to make sure the website is registering this - if it doesn't, it hasn't saved. I lost a lot of work and time because of this. An up to date computer is essential too - I started this book on an old computer and it was almost impossible to design pages and save, the capacity wasn't enough. The new computer is great - much faster editing, obvious saving etc. I used the Layout options a lot, but it is frustrating when the picture shapes are changed and cropped - it took a while to get the layout the way I wanted it. The book is great, very good quality and the online preview is very true to the actual thing. Text boxes work nicely. My next book will be much easier, and I look forward to having a go with the special effects etc.”

“I have been very pleased with the books I have made with Bob Books. The colours are fabulous, the photos come out very well and the software is easy to use. I like the way I can move the photos and text around easily and size them as I please. Also I have been pleased with how quickly I have received my finished products.”

“The standard of presentation was very good and resulted in a pleasing item to keep I did however feel a few of the prints were just a little darker than the originals but not enough to spoil my overall satisfaction. Thank you.”

“I had a tight timescale because it was being presented at a leaving party for a friend and chose Bob Books based on some good online reviews. I used the web based design interface which was intuitive and easy to learn with the ability to save my work over a few days of preparation. The hardback book arrived on time and packaged very well to prevent any possible damage. The book appearance and quality was superb which was a huge relief. Many thanks.”

“I have just used the on-line version of Bob Books to produce a book and I found the process surprisingly intuitive and straightforward. Positioning the photos, sizing, cropping, and zooming were all easier than I expected. The quality of the printed book is also better than I expected. The photo colours are good, the paper is good and the hardback binding is good. The only functionality I would like to have had is the ability to zoom in on the page layout. As far as I could see, I was limited to a fixed 2 page view. Otherwise it was great.”
