“I have wanted to do a book for a while now, and thought it would be really difficult but actually once I had all the pictures in place, it was really easy. I'm very happy with the Book that I created that I want to do a book for every holiday. I would definitely recommend Bob Books to friends and family.”

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. As your package was being delivered to Austria, the package was shipped via Royal Mail which then would have handed over to the Austrian national postal service. This service doesn't offer any tracking information. As stated on our website, for international orders, we suggested that orders are placed at least 10 days before the Last Royal Mail recommended shipping date (for Austria this was 17th Dec). Unfortunately, your order was placed only 5 days before the last recommended shipping date. While we did produce the order and ship it out to you just a few days later, I am afraid the delivery time on international packages is beyond our control, and especially at Christmas delays are likely. Higher volumes, snowfall and temp workings in the postal service mean things are less likely to arrive on time. This is why we always recommend allowing more time for international packages. I do hope that you were happy with your book upon receipt. Kind regards, Bob Books

“I produced a photo book on my iPad. I have produced numerous photo books before but never on an iPad. This made the process convenient and relatively easy. I could have done with one or two more page templates, especially ability to write on a full bleed photo. I use this to introduce a new chapter or day or topic, whilst still having a great photo. One or two things were confusing such as an alert saying I hadn’t completed the front page properly. I had, so I took the risk and the front page was fine. Finally, I don’t seem to be able to store my book, and I seem to have to delete the app before I start on a new book.”

Dear William, You do not need to delete the app to start on a new book. If you click on the Bob Books logo at the top, the app will go back to the home screen where you will be able to see the books that you have previously created and where you can make a new book. To create a new book, click on the + that appears on the screen. With regards to the text on images, we purposefully do not have any templated with that option to stop people from accidentally putting text on that could not be read/ not wanted. You could always consider adding text on the original image in a different software. However, we will keep this feedback in mind for our future app developments. “Choice of books and the finished product are good. Lay flat bindings are great for landscapes. Just one con. If you make a picture that is exactly the stated size of the book pages, it turns out that it doesn't fit on the page exactly; you still lose a bit from the edge.”

“Having been an Apple Book customer historically, I was disappointed to learn that Apple no longer provided this service. I used another company the first time I built a book post Apple and was disappointed by the software and quality. I came across Bobs Books after googling to find out the best digital photo book companies in which Bobs Books got good reviews. I was delighted by the easy to use software and quality of finish and also the speed of turnaround. I will definitely use again and recommend.”
