“I was little disappointed in the ideas provided for our team building activities, they were very generic and not really aligned to our clients expectations and vision for the meeting. I did not feel that Mark really listened to what our client wanted and even when speaking about the ideas was not really linking them to the agenda that was being discussed. It was a challenging meeting, with an agenda that continued to evolve throughout the planning stages, but I felt that ideas were still very lacking, although I do appreciate it was a tough task when you are not overly familiar with the content of the meeting. When working with corporate clients they like to see visuals of the ideas that they are buying into rather than generic catalogue style photos that were provided. I felt at times that I was having to be creative and adapt generic ideas to fit the agenda, and provide the client with an overview of the activities that were being proposed, which wasn't really ideal.”

Hi there Amanda, Thanks for your candid feedback, it's very helpful. We do have a reputation for creative solutions that are tailored around a client's brand and messaging. It does make it much harder to get this right when we aren't able to speak directly to the event sponsor. If you are able to make this happen in future, we'll be able to listen to exactly what they are asking for and ask the questions to enable us to work out the difference between what they want and what they need. We'll then be able to brainstorm solutions live whilst on a call/ in a meeting with them. This process will help both the end user and us to align expectations and select the perfect activity that will deliver exactly what is required. If their needs then evolve as they did here, we have a full understanding of everything to allow us to make recommendations on how the delivery of the activity can evolve too, to remain perfectly aligned. Further, even better than visuals, we can set up potential activities at our offices and invite your client to come and see them in the flesh and have a go. This way they'll have a full understanding of what we propose (which is sometimes hard when concepts are unique). Thank you again.

“Can you please pass to your team our thanks for the fantastic Hell’s Bells event staged to close our annual conference. We have run a number of “team building events” but yours stands out as being one of the most challenging, frustrating, but ultimately rewarding, that we have experienced. The intellectual challenges were pitched at just the right level – initially impossible, but with collaboration and discussion, some intended and some good fortune, the light bulb moments started to come. Mix this up with the construction components and organisational skills required to make best and full use of all of the provided information, and the two hours flew by with genuine participation and contribution from all – and with almost one hundred of us, that was no mean feat! Organisation was great, and as the client contact, I really appreciated the fact that once we said “Yes”, I really didn’t have to do anything other than enjoy the event. Special thanks to the Master of the Scrolls who was entertaining, cryptic and helpful in almost equal measure. His enthusiasm was infectious and the storyline, whilst suitably ridiculous, tied the whole thing together with just the right amount of tension at the end. A resounding success, and we’ll be recommending BlueHat to our colleagues!”

“We had Blue hat deliver 'Circulation Wars' at our annual conference for over 150 graduates in November 2015. It was perfectly themed to our conference and it was a massive success on the day. I am hugely grateful to the blue hat team and Nick Hulme for liasing with me from the offset. He was very professional and accomodating with our needs as well as giving us a great offer on the package. The delivery team on the day were absolutely fantastic with Laura Thompson leading the team. The enthusiasm of the speaker was great and got the energy levels of graduates up, which is exactly what we wanted. The room was full of energy and it was a great opportunity for our new joiners to get involved and do a great team building activity with their collegues. Overall it was a great success and I would like to thank the Blue hat group for an amazing execution!”

“Was a little awkward having arrived alone, would have been good if some of the Bluehat Group Team were working to introduce people rather than talking amongst themselves. The activities were fun and stimulating, however they were great as ice breakers, but there wasn't much guidance on team dynamics and how they could be improved. Maybe this was because there was limited time so the team building aspects has been removed to save time and fit everything into the evening? I thought Toby was a great host, obviously very comfortable working with crowds. Having the GWR person on-site to declare the record there and then was also great and created a real buzz and excitement during the final part of the evening. All in all I thought it was very worthwhile attending and I enjoyed the evening. It was a good opportunity to get a glimpse into what Bluehat offer.”
