“The Team at Blue Hat Teambuilding were great, friendly and definitely festive for our virtual Xmas Gameshow event. Even though there was a slight issue with the link, it was quickly resolved and everyone had a great evening.”
“This is the second Blue Hat activity my company has engaged in, and this was better than the first as we felt it was more challenging, involved, and engaging (we did an Escape Room activity).
In terms of feedback, the Blue Hat cast on the night were excellent. They brought the right level of humour and management to the event. The activity itself was really good. It did drive team collaboration, it did make us laugh, and did push us to think. Overall, i really enjoyed it and the feedback from our teams mirrored that sentiment.
In terms of advice or areas for improvement - there is a requirement to choose team captains and for them to download an app and be briefed. One of our captains did struggle a bit with the technology (which was on us) so i'd counsel potential customers to do this for sure, but get the instructions to your captain's early, and let them be fully set up. For Blue Hat, the only area for improvement from my perspective would be giving the Captains a bit more orientation on the in-game controls and navigation as seeing the game screen for the first time, there was a delay whilst we stared at it trying to figure out what we click on and how we enter answers. However, these are tiny issues in an overall great activity and would simply allow it to flow more smoothly and competitively.
In sum, we really liked it, would certainly recommend it, and would do something similar with Blue Hat again.”
“The teambuilding was really good. I do believe it would have been more beneficial to have proper rehearsal with the team leads, but this is probably due to the fact that we engaged with you late in the process.”
“Our Survey Says was a fun event and as described. Well hosted and managed and Blue Hat worked around our needs as regards having a globally dispersed workforce requiring timing of the event to be outside UK standard work hours.
The only thing we'd have liked a little more of, given it was a staff social event, was to be able to have had some banter between staff. I understand that timings probably precluded this, but one to be aware of if you're planning to run this event for your team.”
“Great experience and good value cost wise. Slightly better customer service from the tech team needed and perhaps improvement on dealing with exceptionally busy periods as communication was often abrupt, delayed or non-comprehensive.”
“Really good fun, however thought the app was a bit confusing and too basic and each time my iPhone went to sleep it kicked me out of the whole system which was a nightmare. Games were fun but twice questions had no pictures attached so we couldn’t answer them, which cost us points. As the format repeated it didn’t feel like we were going into different rooms and if you clicked to answer you couldn’t go back to see the question which was really frustrating meaning again we lost points. Fun afternoon though and we worked well as a team.”
“The team were punctual, organised, energetic and professional and everyone very much enjoyed the activity. The only negative comment was that members of the team felt the facilitated session was quite scripted and it didn’t really add very much value. We were hoping for what team dynamics had been in play and more links to our brief. But on the whole, the feedback has been extremely positive.”
