“The facilitators fulfilled our brief which was to make sure that the team succeeded the challenge. This is the second time I have used Hells Bells and it was fascinating to see how the participants somehow found their way amongst what appears to be utter chaos! Blue Hat were professional and reactive. We used the bilingual (French & English) version of Hells Bells which worked perfectly.”

“A great teambuilding event that fitted in nicely with the content of our annual conference! Having said this I was very disappointed that Chris wasn't able to attend our pre conference meeting at the hotel and I had no contact to tell me this. It wasn't until I called him whilst sat in the hotel that I was told he wasn't attending. I made a special trip and was available on e mail had he not been able to contact me on my mobile.”

“friendly staff, good onsite running the event. Pre-event communication could have been slightly better, I had to chase for information and spoke to various different people in the team to get the answers I needed.”

“Planning before the event was very thorough. On the day the team arrived promptly and the event started as planned. In the early stages some delegates were unclear of the activities and what was required of them. I think clearer instructions from the supporting BH team would help this in future events. After that the event ran very smoothly and it was great to see how it call came together. A final but important point - some of the later content was borderline inappropriate. As with any large business, we have very strict guidelines of how to treat one another with respect, dignity and indifference. It was a shame that BH overlooked this in the scripting of the final act. Perhaps time to review the script inline with modern corporate codes of practice? Other than that it was a very fun and enjoyable event.”

Thank you for the insightful comments. The finale has always been intended to be based on pantomime which is famed for being risqué whilst giving the message of good triumphing over evil. We can certainly review the script and tighten things up in light of these observations.

“our experience with Blue Hat has been positive and the game well designed. Nevertheless we go informed on the last moment about the change of the trainer, but he was confident to manage it and able to involve the team Overall, we would have expected more reflection managements on team dynamics: Instead of taking too much time on the “story” better integration of management reflections/ feedback would have been more appreciated. Specific input/ reflections on how the team collaborated has not explored”

“Thing went off to a really good start with Paul. We were really impressed with all the work that Blue Hat were doing behind the scenes and met Paul at the venue which felt like a really productive session. Sadly Paul then left and we were handed over to someone else. At the time, we were very nervous as we have a big event looming and things got a little bumpy. However, once Ben got involved we were back on track and happier than ever with the progress and then the result so all was well. Really well done to Ben and the team,”

“The activity itself was lots of fun and enjoyed by most people. You may wish to consider the structure of the questions as some of them were a little difficult to match and answers could have been more generic to enable more matches.”

“Mark did a great job at selling the concept and answer all of questions. Once it got into operations, we found out last minute that we had to provide the guests' DVLA check records which was a bit of a stretch for our client to obtain on time at the last minute. So if it could have been anticipated that would have been great. On the accounting side, Bluehat forgot to invoice us as per the contract so we had to rush the payment. On the guests' point of view, everyone had a great time, the team onsite was just great and Ami was just perfect at managing everything. The only that we would consider if we were to do an Italian Job again, would be to make the afternoon activities a little easier to complete than the morning ones. Adding the minis as a gift for the winning team was also really nice. The photographer did not seem that well prepared for such an event and the pictures are average (see the group picture attached. A bit disappointing on the photographer, but would definitely consider Bluehat again for a team activity in the UK. Thank you for the good job! “Thank you for inviting us along to the rowing challenge, we had a wonderful afternoon and it was great to able to experience rowing and get an insight of what Ahoy to youngsters in our local community. Many Thanks”

“The event and individual tasks were very well received. The challenges came from the venue space(s) being somewhat limited, the time allocated for the event being cut and also the amount of delegates vs the number of Bluehat administrators (there were I feel too few administrators to assist and co-ordinate the delegates). Overall however, the Torn Identity event was very positively received, with Bluehat providing a professional, entertaining and enjoyable service that I would not hesitate to use again.”

“Was a little awkward having arrived alone, would have been good if some of the Bluehat Group Team were working to introduce people rather than talking amongst themselves. The activities were fun and stimulating, however they were great as ice breakers, but there wasn't much guidance on team dynamics and how they could be improved. Maybe this was because there was limited time so the team building aspects has been removed to save time and fit everything into the evening? I thought Toby was a great host, obviously very comfortable working with crowds. Having the GWR person on-site to declare the record there and then was also great and created a real buzz and excitement during the final part of the evening. All in all I thought it was very worthwhile attending and I enjoyed the evening. It was a good opportunity to get a glimpse into what Bluehat offer.”

“Staff were well versed on the night's events and there was a good variety of tasks on offer. Official Giunness adjudication was a nice touch. Definitely something to speak to clients about.”
